Nismo S-Tune Roadster
What do you guys think of the S-Tune roadster? I love the way it looks! I just ordered it and it should be here in a week... BTW it'll be in Black Cherry..
|
havnt seen that combo yet...not bad. Those roadster wheels in that pic are f'ing horrendous though.
|
I'll be sure to take plenty of pics when I get the kit put on...
|
looks good but i agree the wheels are dookie
|
Geez, I just have the base 18" rims, hope you guys don't make fun of my rims... Lol
|
Buy some Venici Mesh... than you'll be pimpin
|
i personally like the look of coupes w/ the bodykits. though :)
well... i think the convertible has somewhat weak looking to do with the body kit(i mean the emptiness of the top when its opened) well, who cares :) everything is cool when the owner likes it!!! |
yea it's gonna need some wheels to work with the body kit. The stock 18" are not going to cut it IMO.
|
Alright, S-Tune kit came in... It is being installed as we speak... I will keep you up to date as the day goes by...

Looks hot. Can't wait to see it installed!
|
i think the top fat lip makes the car look like a bass.

looks good! now you just need a spoiler.
and keep the wheels. |
looks good to me, not big on the rear spoiler but it's not bad
|
Looks good. Just get the Nismo shock/strut/spring kit and some spacers and you're good to go!
|
A spoiler does not exist for the roadster...

Looks great! How does the paint match? How much did it all cost?
|
looks good, would look great with wheels and a drop imo.
|
You have a choice of it coming painted or unpainted. The quality of the paint is excellent... It matches perfectly! I got everything from the dealer out the door $1900. I shopped around and had the dealer install it. 5 hours
|
Very nice. I'd find someone selling the 19" sport rims, put on some eibachs and some spacers, and you're good to go!
|
What do the spacers do? If I lower it, won't it scrap the kit? What springs do you recommend with stock struts?

Hi Zigen5,
A beautiful well-done job! What color is your soft top? Black or Bordeaux (wine)? Did you pay about $2,500 dollars for the complete NISMO S-Tune aero kit? My only concern is how was it installed? Did you have to drill holes into the body and use a high-quality sticky tape to hold the aero components together? Or, did you use the existing holes in the body? Your response will be greatly appreciated because I am interested in the NISMO kit myself. spryor P.S. I notice that you changed out the original factory antenna for a shorter one. How is the radio reception? |
I got the kit installed my Nissan.. The entire kit and installation all cost me $2,400. The kit comes with instructions, and doubled sided tape already mounted to the kit, and all screws. The pieces itself was very well to put together. They came with the screws/tape pre-attached to the body kits. Yes you will have to drill the ends to the body, and some of the braces use the existing screws on the bumper.
As for the antenna, I did a search on here for "antennas" and found one of the members purchased the antenna on E-bay. Reception is excellent!!! Definitely a must.... This picture should help... http://i680.photobucket.com/albums/v...t/IMG_0034.jpg Quote:

How much did everything cost you? Springs, spacers, and camber... Where did you purchase them?

By the way...I misunderstood your question about scraping before. I thought you meant the wheels, but I'm guessing you meant your kit. If you stayed with the 18 inch wheels and got an Eibach drop (1 inch) then yes...you'd probably scrape quite a bit. But...if you upgraded to 19 inch wheels, then I think you'd be fine. And then your car would look AMAZING! :tiphat: Again...very nice job. Congrats! |

Hey, thank you for the comments and extra photograph. With the top up your vehicle is just absolutely down-right fabulous! I love the wet-look paint. spryor |
I was looking at getting the wing for a roadster, will it just not fit because of the placement of the antenna?
|
Here are some pics of my car with my new rims... Pics are crappy, will have better pics when I get a chance..

Oh no....I really loved your kit. But I'm not feeling the wheels at all...
|
those wheels look way too small my friend...

well i agree with that as well, but to me if they were 19 or 20", they might look better. i've seen that wheel on 350's and it looks pretty good, even on G35's but it really looks out of place on the 370 for some reason... i agree that the stock ones looked better in my eyes. not trying to hurt your feelings though, remember it's your car, do what you want to do with it :tiphat:
|
I guess its the way I took the picture... It is actually 19's... They look hella big in person. Here are some pics before being mounted.

Looks awesome but its really hard to overlook the awful looking wheels. I don't know why Nissan offered such horrible 18's for the roadster. OP pick up a set of sport wheels in classifieds and some spacers and it'll look sick!
Edit: I didn't read the whole thread, wheels look good but now you need to paint the door handle |
awesome wheels ;)
lmk when u post up more pics! looking good now drop it! |
I think it'll look just fine with a little lowering keep up the good work
