My Roadster now has a little sister
 

I'm fairly new around here and have already told my story of the impulse buy of the sweeeeet Z Roadster.

And although my grown kids were stunned to see their 60 year old man in anything but a pickup truck, I think they got a kick out of their square dad riding top-down in a real life sports car. :)

But now they're starting to worry.
I fetched a barn mate for the Z.

Hmmmm. For some reason I consider them both gals. Or at least I talk to them that way.

(eg. Approaching an off camber rural corner... "Ok girl, let's see what you got", I murmur under my breath)

Now my truck, maybe another story. But I'd forbid such an offspring of truck & roadster. It'd be sure to come out as some kind of SUV.

I just can't do SUV. :)

Just curious whats that black thing on the Mazda front bumper is that a tape?whats that for?

Nice! I replaced a Miata with the Roadster...I kept finding reasons NOT to drive it, but I can't wait to get into the Nissan.

Pretty sure that's the spot for a tow hook. Most of the covers I've seen are color-matched to the car, but the black accent on red doesn't look bad.

The black tow hook cover was a prank on the fella I got the car from. The story was funny. So I'll likely be telling it many times.

Suffice to say that bumper is brand new. The cover was purposely not painted to match.

Two weapons with different missions.
There IS overlap, of course, but as you obviously know, they're still very different.

As someone earlier noted, both are incredibly inexpensive to acquire and maintain if you do your due diligence. So much so that I can't find a good reason to not have both!

Hey Snake, know of you from the Tenere forum. Congrats on the new ride's. I got my roadster in February and I'm loving it. Heading out to Colorado in it tomorrow, enjoy!

Now just trade them both for a Porsche 718 roadster!!! Jk nice rides man!
