I would make this car a super car if I could overcome the tops shortcomings.

Rear Defogger?
Important for those of us in a northern climate. Will the hard top rear window have a defogger, and will it be controlled by the OEM rear defogger switch? I might be interested, but cost, aesthetics, defogger and summer storage would be factors in my final decision.

Any update? Starting to count the days I have left to drive her. Once it snows she will have to get put away in the garage. Have to admit that my husband is considering buying her her very own garage, but I want her in a heated garage.

Should have some pictures soon :excited: |
Prototype is complete!
Photos coming soon  |
Update...
I just reviewed the almost finished prototype top and let me tell you... OMG! They nailed the shape of this top! It transforms the roadster to a whole new level, giving it an exotic sports car look and raising the bar of our platform. It's like a model refresh that will definitely turn heads in public. The best part is those carnival tent bow lines are gone! Don't get me wrong before this option we had no choice. I never focused on the bow lines of a convertable until now that I have seen this top. Stay tuned... :tiphat: |

We were lucky to show them enough interest they proceeded with the development which takes time plus a donor roadster at their shop. They are so close and I can assure you once the prototype is actually "finished" pictures will come ASAP  |
Looking forward to see the pics also.
Although I am not a roadster owner,as I have previously posted, owned several cars with removable tops. The design problem IMO with both the Z33 &Z34,was the rear sides of the convertable top.The Z33 was the worst. Z34 showed some improvement. Hopefully the hardtop design will have the sides extended a bit to follow the lines of the car. Props, blueranger for "owning" this project. |

Im in Florida and riding out the hurricane. PLEASE tomorrow may not come... show me a pic of the prototype :) ok bad joke but dang we want to see it already

I think blueranger is doing the right thing.
Do not show a pic of a project until it is in finished form. I've found that many people just do not have the sense of vision of what the it takes to complete a project. Showing an incomplete will turn them off. Another thread(hood vents)shares a similar plight. Show the vents installed on a hood on a actual Z. Looking forward to see the finished product. |
