Ceilings space

hmmm, I need that lift for my jeep roof, but finding ceiling space may not be so easy for a jeep roof and the z roof and all the lights my husband insists on.

OP, thanks for keeping this thread active :)

You don't have to lift the Jeep tops very high to drive the Jeep out from underneath of it. My top isn't exactly out of the way once it's up near the ceiling, as my garage is standard height. This is with my Jeep being pretty tall to begin with.

I'm interested.

Just the other day I opened the top halfway to clean the inside of the rear window and the soft top operating switch on the center console stopped working. I panicked and began to wonder about all the options I didn't have! It took a while, but eventually started working again. I still don't know what happened.

By the way, my Z Roadster is a 2010 and has been out of warranty for a while.

I will add you to the interested list.

Update!!!

The manufacturer currently has the donor 370ZR car in house and is in process of development. I would like to thank the donor Roadster for sending his car in for this process to begin.

Update

All measurements from donor car are done, tooling is in process and prototype should be completed soon!

Very excited this process is moving forward and of course to do it right it takes time.

I also would like all to know that I researched and pushed for this development out of my own need due to a broken top and Nissan wanting mega bucks $$$ to replace. I do not want to part ways with my roadster so I pushed hard to help make this happen. In full disclosure I do not have any association with the manufacturer and simply wanted this option for my car and to help others that can benefit from this top.

Thanks for the support and I will report back when I get another update.

Hi Blueranger. You may remove my name from the list. I was able to find a local shop to repair my top mechanics. Good luck to all in getting a hard top option or the top fixed. A link to my repair guy can be found in my other vert thread.

looking forward to the update.
