.........hums the tune "America, **** Yeah!
:D |
Only thing I hate America for is probably coming up with automatics for cars
because I want a freaking manual, but I don't know how to drive it LOL no idea how to start learning either:driving: |
?
FU%K BM(trouble you)!
They are on every corner here! from 1985-2010. Over priced German engineering! I owned a 94 520i BMW and a 97 320i BMW. Both euro spec and drove them here in Germany. I have been in plenty of others as well and they are just so uncomfortable for a "luxury car". Hard leather seats and run flat tires don't make for a comfortable ride! I don't mean to offend anybody and don't want to start ****. I am just practicing my 1st amendment. |
Gas
Plus gas in Germany is expensive as sh%t! They pay by the liter (1.30euro), 4 liters = 1 gallon, 1.30euro x 4 = 5.20euro per gallon, 5.20euro = $7.74USD!
And we bitch about paying $3.00 a gallon! How about some input from others on what they are paying outside of the US? |
America has it pretty good.
Cars are dirt cheap AND you get to choose the colour of the interior. We get black, black or black in Oz. My car cost me $65k AUD ($59,200USD) Fuel is dirt cheap. In Oz we pay about $1.20 AUD litre ($4 USD gallon) Are US gallons different to UK gallons as google spat this out... 1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 liters 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters I guess the cost of clothing and living is a lot cheaper as well? Your healthcare is rubbish though...at least we win one point there. :) I would love to come over to the states soon as supersize my way around. Did someone say road trip? ;) |
I can't believe most of you didn't already know this. Don't any of you watch top gear? Those prices are not in USD you know.
It has nothing to do with tax. It has everything to do with volume. United states has just under 800 cars per 1000 people and germany has just over 500 cars per 1000 people and when you factor in the population difference you can see the walmart effect. A lot of other items have the same issue there. However you can have a better standard of living in germany and most west europe countries if you make $50k or less a year. If you make more then $50k it's USA all the way. When you get into $100k a year and more, you're so much better off here. |
Not everyday I feel good about this country but thanks to this fine young person I now realize that it could always be worse. $67000
