According to the info on Nissan's website, here are the answers to my earlier questions.

1. There is no Touring/Sport model for 2015.

2. The Sport Tech model includes the same Bose audio system as the Touring.

3. The Sport Tech model includes the Homelink universal transceiver.

4. Neither the Sport nor the Sport Tech model includes aluminum pedals.

5. The Sport Tech model includes XM satellite radio. I'm not sure if the CD player is single-disc or a changer; this feature is becoming increasingly irrelevant anyway.

The wheel designs are the same. The Base and Touring wheels appear to be black in the center and silver at the edges.

Here's a question for koeppelnissan: Because there is no longer a Touring/Sport model for 2015, does that make you more willing (the 2015 is a better value) or less willing (the 2014 has more content and is now rare) to discount your 2014 Touring/Sport models?

Basically, the 2015 Sport Tech is about $3,300 less than a 2014 Touring/Sport. The 2015 Sport Tech lacks the power heated leather seats, upgraded door trim, cargo cover, and aluminum pedals of the 2014 Touring/Sport, but I believe it has everything else. This may be a great tradeoff for those who want the upgraded audio system and navigation (which were heretofore unavailable at this price point and trim level) but can live without those other items.

I noticed this as well. I'm using the difference for trade-in/private sale negotiations. I happen to own a 2014 with EVERY premium non-NISMO factory installed feature (right down to the illuminated kickplates and metal logo carpets).

Here's something neat: the dealers in my area were NOT aware of the "feature drop" that a maxed out (non-NISMO) 2015 had suffered compared to the 2014. They seem blinded by the 2015 number and automatically think it has the superior option packages.

It's unfortunate that they haven't yet dug deeper into the differences. I'm curious to see how this affects resale value.

I just recently bought my 2014 with every option available.. sport tech and touring.. at 34k.. it had 9k miles and still had all warranties.. I think i got a bargain.. They really didnt know what they had. I looked the new 2015 online and it seemed like I couldnt build a sportech touring.. and I chat with a nissan rep and they told me that they dont do that anymore.

Hopefully resale value goes up for us with 2014 premiums

It really comes down to the dealer. I am looking to get aggressive on my 14s, and just move on to the 15s. Nissan probably won't give us much more in the way of incentives, so break even now or lose money later is the way I look at them. Also, I want to make room to carry more 15s, rather than trying to juggle both. We try to maintain a 10-15 Z inventory through the spring and summer, many other dealers carry a handful at most.

Many other dealers may not even know the difference or availability of 2015 Zs, so they won't look at it the same way as dealers that are active in the community

Great info. I'm bouncing back in forth on 2014 or 2015 Sport Z. Do you know if the 0% interest is going to last past September? I can't buy a car until Octoberish.
