Insurance really isn't that bad on the Z... I'm 26 and bundle with my home insurance (and girlfriend's car) and pay $750/6 months. You may say that is high but we carry $250k/$500k liability / underinsured / uninsured coverage which jacks it up.

kenchan 07-10-2014 03:14 PM

im probably 280-ish next semi-annual premium for the Z. will know in like a month.

Shawberger 07-10-2014 05:15 PM

$470 month car payment
$75 month insurance
$100-$200 month gas
$1000 every 2 years for tires (est.)
$350 year registration
$50 month car washes lol

Mine was higher here in Vegas, I won't even talk about the Porsches.........Vegas bites for Registration, its how they make up for no State tax I would assume.

Im 48, GF is 49, clean records. I'm insuring a 2011 370z, 2010 Malibu, 99 Cherokee, 96 Saturn sl2, and 96 Subaru outback.
Comp/Collision on Z and Malibu, liability all others....$1427 year.

about 10-12 grand a year if you financed. have fun.

not including maintenance and operating costs, or gas.

Insurance is also effected by the area you live in. Of course the state and city, but the actual neighborhood you are in

I barely pay over $6k a year financed for 5 years. 0% APR

Maintenance / operating costs don't seem that much more than a 'regular' car, except maybe tires.

The increase in my premium from my 10 year-old vehicle was shocking in how small it was. However, putting my teen-age son onto my 10 y/o hand-me-down more than made up for it

I pay under $500 a year for full coverage. That and two oil changes a year with stupid expensive Ester oil at about $90 each is about it, until the 3rd year when I'll spend $1500 or so on tires.

Gas? No idea. I don't pay attention to that.

zefaulter 07-15-2014 01:50 PM

Wtf your yearly coverage is a little more than my monthly. Canadian insurance companies suck ***

Davey 07-15-2014 04:07 PM

Keep in mind I'm married, own a home, and insure 2 other cars and that home through them. I'm not exactly a few years out of college either. ;)
