2014 370Z price
So I read on another forum that a 2014 370Z base model plus sport package is going for $30,000? Can someone on this forum confirm this? Where did you purchase your at, I will get one at this price.

$33k
/thread |
It's $29,900 for the base model
and $33,000 for base + sport package |
$33,000 is MSRP. Nobody pay MSRP for a car unless it is limited production car. I don't think base 370Z is.
Anyone know the invoice price for the 2014 yet? |
Invoice on 2013 base model is $31,026, sport package invoice is $2,628. Total invoice + destination is $34,444 - MSRP $36,940.
You should be able to get it for a little under invoice, the $30K isn't happening - it was probably and old price before the US dollar took a dump. I paid a bit over $30K but that was in 2009. |
If mark up's the same figure $31,314 plus tax. Close, but no cigar.

$34483 for a coupe with the sport package for a 2013 in the Houston area. I am about to buy in 3 days and that seems to be the best price. But also note this is 0 % for 60 so unless you have deep pockets that seems better to swallow than waiting for the 2014 and paying interest .

They probably got what you wanted in as a fluke |
I think it just make more sense waiting a few months to get 14 unless I can get a new 13 for under $30000. Who in their right mind is going to pay $34,000 for a 13 if you can get a 14 for little less.
I think with Nissan dropping their price on the 14, it really hard for those that are selling their used 370Z. IT JUST NOT FAIR...... |
this again?
:wtf2: |
I heard that only those that purchased a 2013 for MSRP will get the new 2014s for $4000 less, if they are less than 2 months into a loan and trade in before the last Thursday before the Equinox.

In 2013 the Nismo was going for $48k while the Sports Package was @ $37k and base @ $33k out here in Guam...
The 2014's are more expensive here.... A lil of $52k for the 2014 Nismo model while the Sports Package is @ 41k and the Base is @ $36k...and our dealer is a Corporate dealer..the reps @ Nissan say the prices are higher here than the U.S. due to shipping...Last time I checked Guam was closer to Japan....How the hell would shipping cost more....:gtfo2: |
I don't think anyone in their right mind should be allowed to complain about the price of the Z unless they bought and drive it in Singapore. Right now the 370Z costs over $200K there (~270K in Singapore dollars). New Nissan 370Z Latest Car Price & Prices Singapore - sgCarMart

I'm guessing you guys are talking about a 370Z with sports package and stripped of everything else? Because a Touring model with sports package, 7-speed auto with rev matching, hard-drive-based nav, backup camera, heated seats, carpets, etc comes to invoice of over 42k. I just did the numbers on Edmunds - I got mine fully loaded this way for about 39,900 so I felt I did real well price-wise, but this thread had me wondering so I did the numbers to be sure.

Either that, or you had THE WORLDS FASTEST car build in history. People wait 3 MONTHS for their cars, there's NO WAY that you got yours in 2 weeks if you custom ordered it EDIT: after a reread, you literally described a fluke. Your car wasn't custom ordered, they just happened to have one coming in |

The whole first row against charlotte st is $100k x6's. what I wouldn't give! I'm sure in Japan at nissan a pic will look just like this. "Ordering from Japan" doesn't mean its getting built. It can also mean its just sitting there waiting for a ride over. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ps4d38bd5d.jpg |

In Hawaii, our Japanese cars first go through the West Coast ports on the US mainland. Unloaded there and go through whatever steps are needed for import cars and then on to different ships to Hawaii. My special ordered 13 went through LA then on to Hawaii. My dealer was very good and showed me what ships they were on. It took under 2 weeks to leave the port in Japan to get to Hawaii. Looks like it was in LA for only about 1-2 days. Ships from LA to Hawaii normally takes 4 days to travel the Pacific. |

I think you're right, your car was not special ordered. I know mine was as the dealer could track it from leaving the port in Japan, through LA then on to a different ship to Hawaii. |

My wife and I just went to a dealership in North Olmsted, OH. And
They wanted $38,257 for a 2013 sport 7 speed. I almost laughed and Let the salesman know that Nissan just made the price drop for the 2014. I showed him the article and said that we wanted the newest Model and to test drive before buying. Needless to say, i'll be shopping elsewhere if they try to rake me over the coals again :gtfo2:. What would you guys pay out the door for a 2013 sport with 7 speed auto? |

There are 2 cars that are 2014 auto base (with a few minimal options kick plates/ mats/ etc). And both come in at $27899-$28600.
I'm assuming that is the price and they will not go lower. But WOW that is a great price. |
That is a good price. I paid about $28.3K for my 2011 base coupe auto. That was $150 under invoice at the time.
|
Thanks for the advice. Where do I find the invoice price for
the car? I'm only seeing MSRP prices online. |
Any honest dealer should show you the invoice price, just ask for it. If they don't then I would be warry of them. You can find this info readily available on Edmunds.com or Cars.com

Invoice - $36,009 Average price paid (edmunds.com) - $36,101 Just wait for the 2014's to arrive and they will drop the price on the 2013's to blow them out. Based on the pending price drop everything is overpriced by $3000. |

I just think it is funny how the prices on these cars vary so widely that it is always difficult to ascertain the real value. It is quite deceptive. I think it is going to the 7AT and the sport vs touring or sport/touring models that really trips people up. One dealer wanted more for a base +sport than I paid for my 7AT +Touring. It was laughable. But it'll catch you off guard if you don't have the years/prices/specs all memorized. You might make an offer that they'll be more than happy to accommodate. |
