Either way. would it be worth it? I have a budget of 25k. should I get a touring and make it my own with more comfort? or should I just wait. is the nismo that good over the base model?

The VINs match, so there is no doubt about it.

Well even if it's a salvage title. if I get it checked out by an independent shop, would it be ok? If they replaced everything, i don't really care if the previous owner ****** it.

There's no "even if..." It is a salvage title. And that's really a question you have to ask yourself. If you really don't care if the previous owner ****** it, then I don't care either. Buy it.

Maybe. Probably not. The car was totaled. High probability of hidden damage.

Can your independent shop verify that all damaged parts were replaced? Will they know what to look for on a 370Z? Has the shop even had a 370Z on their rack before?

Unless you have the resources to replace major parts in the future (doesn't sound as if you do), I'd run from any salvage titled vehicle.

I think the question that I am trying to ask is. If it's a front suspension piece, what parts in that area are critical?

I would never buy a salvage title car. Too many issues down the road with something like that. you're just asking for trouble. Pass on it.

Probably hard to get insured and hard to get a loan. The body shops that buy these totaled cars at insurance auctions do the bare minimum to get them back on the road and sell them. Stay far away.

Just save your money and buy a real car. If you can't afford it yet then be PATIENT and wait instead of throwing your money away on a TOTALED car.

I can tell just by looking at the picture with the hood up that the front end was worked on,and that is just from a pic, imagine what I would see if I was standing there.
