I think it's just bunk. I tried to take some pictures Tuesday night out in the dealer parking lot in the dark the best I could and posted them here.

2012 Nissan Z Chassis Brake Cooling Kit part #E4420-1EA00 ???

Others replied and said it looked just the same as there cars, no change.

I think someone just read the literature in the 2012 brochure and got overly excited. Thing is, the same verbiage was in the older brochures too. Nissan is being a little "chesty" touting air ducts. It's like they made the original brochure before finalizing the actual car, then never changed it. Some might say flase advertising.

BUT, on that note, now that it's in my garage, let's see if I can't get any more pictures. I'll be back........

Okay, I took a bunch of pics but none of them show any sign of brake ducting, so it's not worth it to post them all.

My problem is this car is so low without putting it on a lift it's hard to see. I can hardly see anything, so all the shots I took were blind. But again, I can't really see anything, front or rear. If it's there it's not obvious.

I'm wanting to get mine by at least March, when do you think would be a good time to order it? The dealer told me it could take anywhere from 1-3 months, but I'm trying to find a more specific timeline. I don't want to get it any sooner than March, because then I would have to put in in "winter storage".

By March, you might be able to find what you want on a lot. Keep in mind that there are 3 options on this car - touring, sport and nav, one interior choice (essentially) and half a dozen exterior colors. Any other options are dealer installed and can be added to any car.

When I ordered mine in October, I was told Feb / March delivery, that has been rolled back every time I talk to them. Scheduled delivery is now first week of January.
