He gave me paper righting down the deal and signed it himself. He said he will give me a 1.9% for 60 months. Now remember I had a problem with this dealer but I know no other dealer will even try to give me something like that if I tried to take my business elsewhere. At this point with this offer an the minor issues with the car I don't know what to do. Also I don't think they would try the same nonsense again because I just had an argument with them.
Sounds pretty fair.

As far as the paint issues, do you have any detailer friends that could take a look at it and see what they think? I know you mentioned them wet sanding the entire car - that's pretty dramatic - like 1-step away from a repaint on the scale of 'major' things you can do to paint. It's not for the faint of heart. But, it being a new car, I'd make sure the issues can be corrected and an independent detailer can give you a much better idea than the dealer can.
