Default Best way to buy a 370.

I've been going back and forth really on how exactly to buy a 370. I don't know if it would be essentially cheaper for me to research some sites and try to find one myself, or have a dealer look into it for me and see what they can come up with? With the dealer I'm afraid that they are going to go above market value so at this point I don't know what to do. Being from Nebraska I don't have the best resources but if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated! Basically want I would like is a Z with the sportspackage in pearlwhite with black interior and a manual trans and decent mileage.

Basically for the best value, would it be easier for me to try and find a decent used 2009 or just go with a new 2011. Just looking at some sites I've noticed 2010s are marked up way more than what I could get with a 2011.

Please feel free to leave any feedback!

Thanks, Jeremy

Hey Jeremy,
I actually just spent a month doing what you are setting out to do here. Finally this past Saturday, I bit the bullet and bought a new 2011 Brilliant silver 370Z, black interior with the sports package. From all of the research and haggling I did I was able to get them down to an even $31,000; along with another $4,000 for my trade in (2002 Nissan Maxima GLE fully loaded, heated everything minus the Navi (GPS NOT AVATAR)). At any rate I am absolutely convinced that I made the right decision. I was originally leaning toward an 09 Z but the prices were in the same ballpark, 27K and up. I have an odd question, do you have an American Express card? What set me off on the new car journey was the ZAG site available to AMEX card holders. Its a site that has the bottom line dealer price pretty much nailed down, so all of the major haggling is done for you... check it out here AMEX AUTO PURCHASING PROGRAM, and if you need any info let me know! Happy Z hunting!

Depends on where you live. Different regions have different availability.

I am thinking so as well. Just possibly due to the economy I might be able to get a lower price but I will just have to check with some of the local dealers and see. I don't have an American Express card but I will definitely look into that. Thanks for the help!

Coming from the Midwest we don't get a lot. My local Nissan dealership maybe got a total of 2 in so far this year. I really would have no trouble going out of the state to get it, essentially it would make the experience more enjoyable

If you want to drive a little ways, check out Fusz nissan. They're a sponsor on the site and will take good care of you.

If you want to drive a lot, you could buy mine
