These stock 18" are basic, but they can do for a few months to a year, when I buy a set of 18" or 19" gunmetal [something] with a fu@#ing fat lip on it.

I like the front/rear spoiler and especially the brakes. The brakes aren't a big name like Brembo or APR but for the (estimated) $3k cost, the sport package is a great value IMO. Most BBK's for the 350z are ~$3k anyway, so to me that's a bargain.

The 19" wheels look awful though. If I end up with a 370z, I'm gona have to tell those wheels to :gtfo2:.

I personally like the stock 19's. They are made by Rays Engineering and are 20% lighter than the predecesors!

The 19" wheels are the ones that are shown in road and track and the nissan released pictures that look all crazy and angular right? I love those wheels. Right after I get mine I will start saving for tires cuz knowing me they won't last very long.

Sounds like you answered your own question with the rest of your post.

I plan on getting a base with the sport package instead of the touring for the following reasons:
• I don't want leather
• I can read a paper map
• since it's not a sebring convertible, I don't want an automatic

Does this help your understanding?

The aftermarket nav will probably be just as good or better than OEM but many opt for the factory nav because of fit and finish.

Sport package obviously comes with the 19s and the brakes.

But the base model comes with standard 18 inch rims 225/50/18 in the front and 245/45/18 in the rear. Yokhoma Advan tires.

The sport package I believe comes with the 19s that are shown in all the pictures of the car and with the brakes.

245/40/19 front 275/35/19 in the rear

Just wanted to put it out there since there arnt any pictures of the base model below the sports package.

This makes no damn sense whatsoever.

Anyways, there's no "Base" model... it's 370Z and 370Z Touring. A 370Z with the Sports package is called a 370Z with Sport package. It's not a different model.

In the past, it WOULD be a different model. A 350Z with the Brembos, Rays, etc. was a different model alltogether (either Track or Grand Touring). You couldn't get it as a package on the Base (350Z) model.

I know it dosnt make sense that why I made the thread. For all those people who keep saying "im getting base model with sports package"

I plan on getting a 370z (base) with the sport package too. For the following reasons:

19" rims from Ray's
LSD
Syncro-rev feature (although I am hesitant as I enjoy revmatching)
Aero kit

I also do NOT want the following from the touring:

Leather
Improved speakers/Navi option
(as I plan to install a top navigation system with a full custom sound system from elemental designs as I do in my RSX-S)

What I will miss from the Touring:

White door inserts (but I can probably get those later if need be)
