2012 Models On Sale???

Does anyone know when the 2012 models go on sale at dealerships? When have the 2010's/2011's gone on sale at dealerships?

West Coast: November
East Coast: As Late as March
Middle of the country (Texas): Somewhere in between January???

I think some people still waiting for the 2011s they ordered. They might be 2010 steal sitting in some dealership.

Speaking of steal, just traded my 09 base for a new 10 roadster Touring out the door 37k with zero percent on the note... Im paying less then I was for my base 09!

Hi! This forum thing is pretty new to me. I just ordered a '12 Nismo a few days ago from a dealership here in western Canada. They don't have the pricing from Nissan yet, but they said they'd honor the 2011 pricing (with a couple thousand off the sticker price) even if the price goes up. I doubt it'll go up since it doesn't look like any real changes from the 2011's. If the price drops they said they'd drop an equal amount to our agreement. They said it will arrive Oct/Nov of this year. The only thing they said that they can't know yet is what Nissan will offer for financing on the 2012's. They said they have no contol over that and that it's Nissan's head office sets the rates (non-negotiable). Is that true? Last January they offered 4.9%. Might get my own financing for once it gets here...

Nissans been jackin' prices every three months. It would be an amazing feat for Nissan to drop pricing.

You can get better financing than 4.9% if you have good credit. Check with your bank or local credit unions. Most of the time if you get a good rate with an external lender the dealership will try to beat it so that you'll still finance with them.

I have been away for a while so please forgive me if this has been recently discussed/answered.

Is Nissan shipping cars (2012 model 370Z cars) currently/ Is the factory in full operation? I noticed that a couple local area dealers have virtually no new Z car inventory.

Did the dealer give you a quote? The dealers that I've been talking to said Nissan hasn't given them the price so they can't give me a quote. I've been debating if I should place the order now (once the dealer has an allocation) or should I wait until mid August or early September.

If I decide I want to buy a new 370Z, I will wait until about February. By then I expect the lots to be as loaded as they were last February before the catastrophe in Japan.

Yeah at first they gave me a quote way to high like above 38 for a base.7at, sport, with floor mats and splash guards. After a couple weeks, i talked them down to 34700 which they said was 200 above invoice. I dont have many choices for dealers so had to go with that. Not bad for me, considering there arent taxes to be paid because im buying it in Alaska. Id probably wait till that time to order but not a big deal no matter which you choose.
