Price? Base + Sport Pkg + Extras
I'm actually looking for base + sport package with the following options
-Painted Splash Guards -Carpeted Floor and Trunk Mat -Illuminated Kick Plates I live in Orange County, but so far the best price I see is $32,000 + TTL (9.25% sales tax). I just want to make sure if I could do better. btw, I currently drive a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. Car handles like a go-kart. How does the 370z fairs in handling in your opinion? |
hey DJ, cant really answer your question, but just wanted to point out unless you live in La Habra the rest of the cities in the OC have a sales tax of 8.75%. Also glad to see another future 370Z owner in my neck of the woods, gonna be ordering mine here next month from Fontana Nissan :) you cruise up and down Beach Blvd. very often cause i see alot of Celica GT-S like almost everyday lol.
|
That's kinda high...For a Base+Sport with those options I would go $30,000-$30,500 + TTL.
Good luck with the car search! |

It looks like no dealer has access to Montery blue with my optons. However' I can go for gunmetal grey. Just no grey silver black and white. Too many of those in 350z around my neck of the woods. Anyone know when production kicks in again? |
lol, yeah i have seen your car before then...as for what i have right now you may have seen me also, i drive a slightly modified chevy cobalt sedan with an incomplete body kit on it as of this moment (just missing the sideskirts). As for the color and options you want on your Z i had the guys at Fontana Nissan tell me that there would be no Monterey Blue coming in within the next 3 months so therefore that why i mentioned i had to order cause im looking for almost the exact same thing as you minus the splash guards and kick plates. I have seen one Monterey Blue 370Z driving around last week with the sports package, so who knows maybe whoever is driving that one would be willing to sell it to you lol.

Yeah they can be pretty quick cars when setup right, i know a member over on their forums is pushing around 300-350whp on a stock turbo setup with upgraded GM stage 2 parts for their turbo. Getting back on topic though, have you tried looking over at Connell Nissan? i know i did a search just recently and they do have a few 2009 370Z with sport package that were going for about $29k which im sure you could work them down on.

hmm, is there a specific color you want, cause i just checked around cars.com and there are a few sport package manuals scattered around about a 40 mile radius of Garden grove, in fact i just spotted a 2009 sport package in red that is being sold out of alhambra if that is of any interest to you.

I want to make sure it's from a Nissan dealer. This is my first new car purchase after long rows of used cars. Never really did a warranty on a car before, haha.
|
any particular reason you want it to be from a nissan dealer?

I've been driving Nissans since 2001, which includes '82 Nissan 280zx turbo, '91 Nissan 240SX, '93 Nissan Maxima (parent's car) and '98 Nissan 200sx (cheap emergency DD). One thing I dread in all Nissans is either an electrical or a sensor related issue. Been dealing long enough that those electricals don't last too well over 10 years, but man does it feel sexy to drive a 370z. Reminds me very much like my RIP 280zx. |
as far as i know most of the 370Z i've seen listed still have the factory warranty on them, plus if i remember right you can purchase an extended warranty through nissan themselves if you wanted to. Can't really say i know about the electrical and sensor issues though as i never had a problem with the electrical on my 05 altima 3.5SE although unfortunately i had to get rid of it for other reasons, but my first car was also a 2002 altima 2.5 and i've been a nissan guy ever since.

Anyone know where I could 3m scotchguard the front bumper in southern california?
|
so does that mean you went ahead and picked one up? lol....as far as 3m, someone on here should know a few places.
|
I am highly considering one since I got the prices., but ever since I put back my Celica as GTS, I kinda don't want to part with it and rather save money until october (a good month to buy new car). Plus, no dealer here wants to go lower than 32k + ttl with me since 370z is whatever is in other nissan dealer inventories in california.
|
Well ultimately it's up to you as the buyer, but whatever you decide to do i'm sure anybody on here would be happy to provide you with any information that you need. Darnit and here i was hoping i was gonna have another evil twin of my Monterey Blue Z running around here come September lol. :D

Though judging from price of gas and yen, MSRP is gonna go up by $800 at least next year. |

Sticker price of my car was $36,330 and invoice was ~$33,749. I got mine for about $155 under invoice but the dealer had to truck it, so I lost some negotiation power there. Keep in mind Nissan just raised prices a couple weeks ago but I don't know if that affects 2011 models already on dealer lots before the price increase. I think my vehicle is about $600 more now. Some folks on here claim to get these cars for ~$2-3k under invoice. Not sure how they're doing that or if it's real. |

Haha, are you sure about that? There's already triplets. |
lol, yeah i've seen that pic floating around on the forums here, makes me drool everytime i see them. Just something about the color of blue they used for the Z's really makes them stand out, that and i've always wanted a blue car but never really had a choice, it was either take what was on the lot or the car didnt come in blue lol.

Speaking of Blue Z's, one was just recently listed at carmax in costa mesa, but it is only a base model without sport package :( and they want $26k for it!, talk about ripoff considering it's an 2010 model  |
Im sorry, but for the amount of power on the wheels, i rather have VLSD than open diff. Considering only 25k of these cars are sold the price is about right.
|
no prob, just thought i'd keep you updated on whats on sale in the area lol
|
i got mine in September of 2009, Red NEW.... exactly what your looking for $29,000 Solid Red :)
|
I currently own a '09 PG 7AT Base with 16,900 miles (excellent condition, never tracked) with all the little extras (ie. mats, illuminated kick plates, splash guards). I'm in search of a '11 Red 6MT Sport Pkg. I went to a dealer in Ohio who had the car I want in stock ultimately not being able to make a deal.
I eventually offered $23,000 for my trade-in and $33,000 (around invoice) for the new 2011. They did not accept. Does this seem like an unreasonable deal? I feel like those numbers are the lowest I should accept. |

I mean...it's freaken CA. Most would rather get a G37 than a 370z. |
well hopefully the fact that i got a quote from the dealer im going to buy from helps some and that they stick to their guns on the price they offered me. I thought about a G37 at one time, but when i saw the color of blue that they oferred i didnt much like it compared to the 370Z blue.
|
So I bought a 2010 40th Anniversary Z for $32000 + TTL.
Comes w/ Gold Preferred 5yr / 75,000. =D |

Looking for feedback please. Negotiating a deal on a 2010 cherry + touring and sports package. We are at 30.9K. Can I do better?
|

sounds like a pretty good deal o me for a touring+sports package. |
Thanks zealot. The car has splash guards and floormats. They said they can do 0% for 60 months. I will believe it when I see it.
Was hoping to get them down to 30K. I have been watching their inventories for a few months now and these cars are just not moving. I rarely see a Z here in the DC area. |
