i did not pick it up :( we did have some snow/rain. i didnt want to drive it for the first time in rain, snow and at night. i will be going down sat like 8 am!

just called nissan....they do not have the 3m on it...and dont think they will for sat...so sad!

Are you going to wait for the 3m to be put on it or are you going to pick it up? I'm not sure if I could wait, knowing its there.

just an update if this hasn't been posted already, but looks like Nissan has solved their engine production issues for the time being by shifting some of the engine production to the Decherd, TN plant which will now ship engines to Japan. Link follows:

it was like 1k for the hood, fenders, mirrirs and full bumper...but they gave it to me for free! you should do it.

telling me mon...but i cant do it...will try for tues 3pm but i was going to the cottage to open it mon night for a week. trying to push it a day. see what i can do.

Jazz, I thought when you said 3M, it would be scotch guarding the inside. I did some surfing to find out a little more. Thats weird stuff man. Do they detail the car first to remove any impurities etc. I have never heard of this stuff before.

I too saw alot of tops down, its 13 here, I was thinking the same thing, wish I had mine. But there will be lots more days to come. Can't wait. :excited:

ya, the 3m will save the paint on the front from unwanted chips...im not going to do anythning on the inside. i feel its not needed, if you keep your car clean.

i was going to try and pick her up on tuesday, but dont think i have the time. have to wait until nextweek when i get back :(

Say you have the 3M on part of the hood and you later have the car detailed (polished) will there not be a great difference between the shine where there is 3M and the rest of the car?

I have heard nothing, will give them till Wednesday then all H... will break out.:shakes head:

I called Jeff and got the blackrose from Newmarket. I'm a proud owner of a 2011 370Z, blackrose, A7, nav, sports, delivery next week. Tuesday at the earliest. But I'm sick so not sure if I'm going to pick it up or have them deliver it.

Questions for you;
1. what does your votage meter sit at? Mine has been at 14.5 all the time. I find that a little high but the manual said between 11 -15.
2. Although it will never see snow, I got it undercoated, makes it quieter and yes, I got the 3M as well, Did you receive a paper (certificate) with the 3M?
3. One thing I'm disappointed in is that you can't make a call with the top down. You can receive but not make a call.

3. i am as well "disappointed" about the fact you cant make a call with the top down! i think you can enter a number in the nav system...you just cant say it...but unsure?

You are correct. When the top is down you can do the call through the nav system, what a pain. I can see many accidents happening, individuals reaching over to make a call, .....not good.
Now all we need is some good weather!

It's possible those were just a handful of vehicles that weren't destroyed.

well i guess that means that alot of these dealers that are nervous about new shipments of Nissans can put their fears to rest. Also glad to see that the people of Japan are getting back up on their feet even with the still looming nuclear crisis.
