invoice price on 2010 touring with sports

2010 touring with sports - Red exterior with Gray interior [CARPETED FLOOR MATS; ILLUMINATED KICK PLATES; CARPETED TRUNK MATS; SPLASH GUARDS; & 50 STATE EMISSION]

$34,369.00 - dealer asking price with an out the door of $36,700.00 (in Texas with all ttl, etc.) "before Monday (1/3/11)."

Does this sound like a good deal?

I'll try to get closer to $36,000, given that this is a new 2010, which will depreciate more than 2011's on the lot.

Thank you all for viewing.
Often silence means approval, but, in this case . . . not so much.
Hard to believe, but no Z for me - 'yet.'
I will wait to see what is available in pre-owned '10's or new '11's.

We just bought a used CPO 2010 Touring, Navi, Sport, 6M with 7500 miles for quite a bit under 30k. First of the month is a bad time to try to squeeze a dealership. Usually at the end of the month is when they're trying to make "that last deal" to make the numbers look better.

Just a heads up.. I got a new 2010 370Z touring, auto, navigation, sports package, all options.. for under invoice. in northern va.. The year end sales event which is being advertised on TV isn't a fluke. Dealers are very eager to clear the lots for 2011 + models.

1/3/11 was the "end of the month" for most dealerships. They usually push it by one business day if it falls on a weekend.
