Question about purchasing 370Z

Hello everyone I am new to the forum. Name is Manny from Queens NY.

I am interested in purchasing a blue 370Z 6AT.

My questions are as follows:

Can I buy the car outright and show up to the dealership with a bank check and get the car? Or am I required to finance regardless if i have the cash or not?

My next question is, does Nissan offer extended warranty?

Also, does Nissan offer "Lo-Jack service"?

Thank You

You should be able to buy the car right out.
Nissan has an extended warranty, multiple options.
Not sure on the Lo-jack.

You can definately bring a bank check and purchase the car outright. Financing is available for those who doesn't have all the cash on hand.

Like what theDreamer said..Nissan dealers will have lo jack services and multiple extended warranty plans for you to choose from.

Just a note you may want a 6mt or a 7at there is no 6at. The Blue is a nice color choice too!

Suggest you check the warranty forum to get extended warranty pricing estimates.

Is a bank check different from a personal check?

cruzmisl 08-31-2010 01:27 AM

If your checking acct (or whatever acct the check is linked to) has the correct amount of money in it, they will have no problem taking it.

I actually asked the stealership this question when buying my car. They responded "as long as it doesn't bounce this is just fine."

Bank Check, sometimes referred to as an outside loan.

Most Stealerships will hold your title and paperwork until the check clears.

Oh no...I am planning to go to my bank and have them make a bank check to the dealership for straight cash from my account. No loans or anything for me.

I know they wont be too happy about it since theres "No Loan= No Interest"

So they wont make nothing off of me except the principle payment in one shot.

I do not like the fact that I cannot get the Navigational system in the coupe. I think they should make that optional as well. But I guess i'll just do fine with my TomTom.

I was considering a manual transmission, but remembering the days when I had a manual transmission Sentra....It wasn't too pleasant driving in New York City. Especially during rush hour after work on the expressways.

The stop n go is soo constant that its aggrivating as it is...adding a stick shift could only make me go postal on the idiots that drive in this city.

I'll stick to the paddle shifters when I feel like racing from one green light to the next red light lol

My other concern is that Lo-Jack. I rather play it safe than sorry, even though I will be garaging it. They told me at the dealership that in order to order my car, they need a 10% down payment to order my vehicle. Is this true?

And will that 10% go towards the actualy payment of the vehicle?
