Looking to but a 370z

Went to the dealer yesterday and had a horrible experiance. Found an 09 6 speed base model. Sticker was 30. Talked the guy down to 26750 before tax and fees. Told him I had 6,000 to put down. Talk to his finance guy and his manager and says you have yourself a deal. Give him my down payment. Then he comes back and tells me he's waiting on his finance guy. I thought I got approved already. So turns out only 1 or two banks call him back and say I need a cosigner. It 8pm at this point I got there at 7. Then I tell them if I don't get approved I want my sown payment back. They tell me that it's in the safe and the person that has the key won't be back till the morning so they can't get my money. To make a veryyy long story short, last night I left with no money and no car. An td I'll have to go back down there and either pick up the car or my money. So today will tell all. Wish me luck

So didn't get a car today. Had a bad experience for the second time at the same dealer. Sat down with another guy. Asked him to see the used 370z they told me they have bc I was approved for less money so I had to go used. Then they tell me they don't have any. Then that they have an 08. I told the guy that I didn't want that I wanted a 370. She they guy tells me to buy that wait a year and buy a new 370 after that. I told the guy I work to hard to settle for what I want and that I will get a 370. So he goes on to tell me that I will never get one. Sooo they said they couldn't help me and I got my down payment back. And the guy tried to convince me one more time to get the 08 and I told him that I'll have a 370 within the week to watch and see.... I planned on buying a new one bc I got a cosigner but since everyone was being jerks I decided to take my business elsewhere. So I'm waiting for another dealer that I talk to td to get back to me withthe car that "I" want. This guy is very down to earth and would is telling me he would rather put me in a car I want next week rather then forcing me to buy what he wants. So tm he will give me a list of white base model 6 speeds with a sport package and then take it from there

So all and all I'm having a horrible time, so far, trying to buy my first car. This salesman I'm talking to now is alot better and is looking for what I want not making me chose from what he has.

Never be afraid to walk away from a deal. Good on you. Don't get sold into what you don't want. It's not like the salesman has to look at that thing and make payments on it for the next year(s).

thanks for the link def helped me out. im still gona go through with the deal (givin i find the one i want.. again) ive been number crumching since i thought about buying a car and have came up with a round about number that i know i could afford and still have money to either go out and/or mod the car. dont think any heavy mods are to come. most likely going to put rims and time, maybe an exhaust.

The reason im buying a new car is im tired of driving around beaters. granted ive have some nice beaters (340rwhp firebird

) haha. but ive been working my but off since i was 13 yrs old and ive always had nothing to show bc i blew my money on stupid things. ive finally realized i should stop throwing money at stupid things and put it towards something i could enjoy and not have to worry everyy dayy aobut breaking down. the insurance and payment is wayyy less then what i blow a month on stupid ****. just so u guys know im not just some kid that randomly decided that oo i want a 370z. granted i am a kid at 21 haha. but im in an extremly stable job making very good money for my age.
