Okay... to the OP, go check out the invoice/MSRP price thread and calculate the % increase going from a 2009 base model to a 2009 Nismo. Go back to KBB, determine the value for a 2009 base model with the listed mileage and options, add the % increase for a Nismo, then deduct another 10 -15% as I suggested to get back to wholesale/invoice territory and start around there as your low bid. Depending on how long it's been sitting there, you might even start a bit lower than that just to get the conversation going... remember it's going to be two model year's old in a few months...

$36-37k? For a new NISMO 370z? That is very unlikely unless you were family to the dealer or NISSAN.
I think with 5k miles assuming no damage $34k is fair for an 09 NISMO. You might be able to get it cheaper if the seller needs to move it now. |

There's no way he's getting that NISMO for 30k, the seller could take it to a dealer and trade it in for more than that, patience isn't going to make him dump the price lower privately than he could get in a trade. Heck, ducky even mentioned he knew someone who got 31k in a trade-in. I mean I guess I shouldn't rule it out entirely due to people being in desperate situations and not using all of their resources, but the guy would be crazy to sell it privately for 30k. |
