How much did you get your 2010 370Z w/ sports package OTD?

Hi, I'm looking into purchasing an automatic, 2010 370Z w/ sports package and was wondering what you guys paid for it out the door for those that has bought one? I just don't want to get ripped off. Thanks in advance.

AK370Z 02-15-2010 05:36 AM

Have you looked at our invoice pricing threads? http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...ice-price.html

I have paid invoice but I'm in NJ. I can't speak for other states. Also, OTD price WILL vary state to state due to different tax rate/dmv fees.

We also have two supporting dealers in your area (region). Why not send them a pm and see if they can get you a good deal?

Check out our dealers here The370Z.com Vendors and Sponsors - Nissan 370Z Forum

Thanks for the replay AK370Z.

Yes, I have looked at the invoice thread. I got an offer for 34k OTD for an automatic, 2009 370Z w/ sports package, but I really want the 2010 version instead. I'm trying to get it for 34k, but it seems like it's not happening, lol.

azn370z 02-15-2010 01:16 PM

You should go by invoice and not otd. I paid less tax because I traded in a car. $500 over invoice is a fair price, but you can do invoice Or better if you're set on it.

that's about what i paid otd for mine almost a year ago with similar specs - sport, auto, sills, splash guards, floor/trunk mats. for that money, definitely get a 2010. i imagine most 09s have more than a couple miles and have been test driven more than enough times. plus the new car smell is probably less powerful than in the '10 lol.

Bizzy,

I don't know where you are in CA, but Premier Nissan in San Jose has deals on all 370z's. Their offer was $5,550 off MSRP . For your package seem like it would be about $3k under invoice. I ended up buying a 370z Nismo, but got a great deal as well.

FuszNissan 02-18-2010 12:05 AM

What were they selling them for over sticker???

zmyride 02-18-2010 12:40 AM

i can get you $500 under invoice. that's what i bought mine. let me know where you live.

L8N8 02-18-2010 10:38 AM

$32,500 OTD for me. That is unless something changes before I sign tomorrow.

Hehe I don't want to sound like a douche, but it most likely will.

Damn, that's a good deal...better than what I've been getting in Southern Cali. How much is the tax in your state?

NCSUPACK09 02-19-2010 08:33 PM

Just bought my 2010 Base MB 6MT w/ Sport Package for exactly $31,000 OTD

sdiep1337 02-19-2010 11:36 PM

I was quoted 34,000 OTD here in San Jose, CA for a 2010 base w/sport. Is that a good price? Anyone in California please help. Thanks.

elmz 02-23-2010 12:52 PM

Wow you guys are getting some ridiculous deals? Does OTD include TTL, warranty, financing, etc... for you guys??? I don't see how the lenders and dealers are making money...

NCSUPACK09 02-23-2010 04:41 PM

OTD for me was tax, title, processing fee, and dealer installed options.

Don't just accept all dealer fees. Ask the dealer what each fee is for, and if it sounds ridiculous, it probably is. There were a few fees that the dealer was trying to charge me and I refused to pay it for one reason or another. I ended up saving about $550 just by saying "NO".

When it comes to financing, I came into the dealership w/ a pre-approved loan from my credit union, and told them if they could beat the rate I was pre-approved for, I would finance through them. Of course they gave me a better rate so they could make some money on the car.

I hope these tips help you guys save some money!

Why do you pay less taxes if you trade in your car?

I've noticed this before on my 350z purchase when i traded in my scion, i paid less taxes, does anyone know why this is?

sorry if this is noob question.

when you trade in a vehicle to purchase a new one, you only pay tax on the difference in price.

example:
new car = $30,000 ; trade-in value = $20,000
you only pay tax on $10,000.

Merlin 02-28-2010 04:44 PM

Ordered my 370Z 6M/T Touring with nav, sport package, illuminated kick plates, carpeted mats, spare tire for $43,800 OTD...that was about $1,500 under invoice. Got the Platinum Graphite with Bordeaux Top and wine interior...

Got you, thanks.

shoopajae10 02-28-2010 05:48 PM

what about down payment?

if you have more down payment for a car would you pay less taxes too then?

You could finance the whole $10k or pay it all in cash, but the sale price is still $10k after trade-in. Tax would still be the same amount.

no, the tax break only applies on the car you are trading in since you already paid tax on it...

shoopajae10 03-02-2010 12:42 AM

Well i just bought the 2010 370z base+sport including, floor & trunk mats, illuminated kick plates, splash guards all for 31,600.00 OTD thanks to Robert's VPP. Dealer is also paying to have the car trailered here.

The reason why its so low is because the taxes only came out to be $802.37 I believe because of my trade in. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer. =) Thank you Robert!

They were trying to add an "environmental protection plan" for 995.00 for dealer add on, which included, a premium coating which helps the paint, window tint, nitrogen and wheel locks. pshhh rip off. at first they said it was mandatory which was bs, then they said help them pay half of it which was bs, then they just took it off the add on all together. haha

TheSnakeJake 03-02-2010 09:36 PM

i just got home with my new 2010 PW base coupe + sport package + floor mats + splash guards... $32,518 OTD.
