$23,500 for a 2013 370z touring sport???

Thinking about buying this used 2013 touring and want to know if $23,500 is too much for a used 2013 touring sport w/ 11k miles on it. It does have scratches on the front bumper and the fender is flared out a little.. The original price was $24,900, dealer took off $1,400.00; -$1,000.00 flexibility, -$400.00 for the bumper. Bringing the price to $23,500 before taxes. I would have still fix the fender. It only has one owner, regular maintenance record and the interior is 10/10. Any suggestions???

You can always walk away...

I'd offer them what you think is fair and get it before summer sets in, that's when everyone crawls out of their hole looking for Z's

8 months ago I was able to find 2014-2015 models with 7-12k miles for $23.5-25k

and that was at carmax. 370s dont have much value anymore...not happy to say that but its the truth.

They want that thing off the lot badly, Id negotiate more

cheapest one on carmax at this moment 24,998 for a sport model MT, with 14k miles.

A clean <40k miles sport package z will hold its value pretty well.

Not sure how that is 'not much value', the car was 31k new, still fetching 25k 4 years later

That's much better depreciation then a mustang or a camaro,

IF you want bad resale go look at a lightly used mustangs, they drop like rocks, and thats for the GT's, look at a v6 and its laughable. 40k cars going for a little over half only 2-3 years later.

I recently purchased my 2014 Sport/Touring M6 with 14k miles for $23k. They are hard to find in my heck of the woods.

Thanks, I don't feel so bad anymore. I might go ahead and pull the trigger on it.

I was considering a 370 for about 6 months last year and did a lot of searching within a 300 mile radius for about 2 months, Im not exaggerating one bit.

I remember three specific examples in fall 2016

2013, 7k miles touring for $23,300
2014, 11k miles sport for 24,500
2015, 8k miles base for $24,200

all of these I was considering, first two from carmax and the last in atlanta

370zs dont roll of the lot and dealerships want them gone. Maybe it was the time of year or maybe fall 2016 was a good time to buy. All I know is if your patient, they can be bought for very cheap...in perspective to a new one.
I love 370zs, so theres no reason to defend the value they MAY hold...but I know what I know.

Yea its gona vary slightly by region, but in the end still have to pay at least ~24k for a clean mileage, sport package Z.

needles to say its still damn good resale value compared to some other brands.

it is difficult to compare use car prices. No one used car is the same. the price can vary alot based on the condition and availability. certain color combo and/or options in higher demand tend to fetch higher prices.

I have shopped at Carmax before and was very disappointed with the quality of the cars.

the bottom line is that if you found one that you really like, just get it. ;)

I forgot to mention that my 2014 Sport/Touring M6 had the Tech package for $23k

I'd part out the aftermarket stuff, take her back to stock an list for like 19500, then go down 500 every month or so, ill be she sells for 17-19 fairly quick.

my reasoning? look at the current market, 07-08 350z hr's with ~70k miles are still fetching 12-15k.

JCar 03-13-2017 08:15 PM

I just traded in a 2015 touring with 8k mileage and got 23k for it.
