2015 370 nismo editions
Hello all,
I'm in the market for a new Z, I recently sold my 350z a few days ago. I've been looking around for a used solid red nismo, but there so hard to find here in southern california. I'm thinking of just picking up a 2015 370z nismo from a local dealer. So the question is to those who own a 2015 model, what did you guys pay out the door and how long did you guys spend at the dealership making a deal happen? -Steven |
I am shopping as well. What tranny and packages are you wanting the price for?
Maybe a better question is what is invoice pricing for the new Nismo? |

Try using the TrueCar app or website. I did a search around beverly hills for a 6speed manual and found 3 from 39-40k. Not exactly sure on color though.
|
If you go to nissan website and build the 370 nismo it will show you the price. You can also search dealers in your area for that build and price. I am seeing 41,990 dollars for the base MT nismo. Should end up around 43k for a few options and destination fee.

I seriously overpaid for mine, but that was intentional as weird as that sounds. My dealer probably thinks I am insane taking their first offer (which was 6K over MSRP). That is not my usual experience with this Nissan dealership though, that is the highest I have ever seen them try to mark anything other than GT-R up. So I don't think there's a lot of wiggle room price wise even though Nismo's not as exclusive this year as in years past.
As far as making the deal happen, since I didn't haggle or care about financing, I was done and out the door in about an hour. Maybe they expedited things since I was willing to pay so much over MSRP? :P |

I got my 2014 Sports Touring with 4K miles already on it for $31.5K.

I paid 44 out the door for my 6MT Nismo Tech w/illuminated kicks, nismo mats, and trunk mat. I was in the dealer less than 30 minutes, and I also did not have a trade-in.
$4,400 Under MSRP |

That makes a whole lot of sense why you intentionally overpaid 6K for the car. Backward thinking if you ask me.
I bet your e-penor is a foot long too!:yum: |

Nevertheless, like I said, I've been to that Nissan dealership many times before and the only car that was marked up more than this one was a 2009 GT-R (about $20K above MSRP). Everything else, including a 350Z has come in very close to MSRP before negotiation. |

Please tell me you didn't get it from Sutherlin Nissan also. Those sales guys are asses. |

But like I said, this purchase was really to get me off my butt and back to trading stocks. I don't mind paying over invoice if it motivates me to get back to work to earn the money back ;) It sounds crazy, but it works. I'll make up the markup and then some by the end of Q1 2015. I just thought I'd share the kind of markup they tried because it's larger than any other model I've ever tried to buy there. I had assumed it was because there's no dealer incentives on these models, but maybe Sutherlin really is just a bunch of pricks? All previous purchases there have been more reasonable. |

Remember buy low sell high. ;) |

New 370Z for Sale - Sherwood Nissan Its $53500 CDN out the door ($42837.70 USD) |
Four tips for buying/selling:
1. Invoice pricing on brand new car, just released for a given MY = NADA yellow book; useful for trade in as well. Also look into current dealer incentives and dealer holdback (I believe 3% on Nissans?) 2. Actual (auction) value on a vehicle at least a year old (or to see depreciation from retail over the years...) = Hearst Blackbook 3. Hoping for the best defensible asking price when selling privately = Kelley Blue Book 4. MSRP = sucker price, always and forever, and anything above that is 1000 generations of raping and pillaging pricing. |

All kidding aside, congrats on the car and if it motivates you to invest and make up that money, plus earn more on top of it, have at it  |
Someone in this thread got fuked.

[QUOTE=Kaldaien;3099815]lol, no. I'm serious though. I have a lot of investments, but I have discovered lately that I am also very lazy. I don't like that side of myself one bit, but sadly it takes losing money to motivate me to do anything.
Sorry but, I find your reasoning quite peculiar. The other thing is that, if losing money motivates you, why not just donate that money you just overpaid for your car to a worthy charity? Whatever floats your boat, congrats on the new Z :ugh2: |

What kind of investor actively tries to lose money for motivation? In all my years of buying and selling real estate and stocks I have never heard anything so ridiculous... That salesman that sold you your car is probably a hero to all his sales buddies every time he tells the story of the time he sold a Nismo for $6k over MSRP to some schmuck in half an hour. http://25.media.tumblr.com/vVmbDWseN...RISVo1_500.jpg |

Frankly, I am getting real tired of justifying myself to all of you clowns who think you know more about my financial well being than I do. So it takes something unpleasant to motivate the lazy person I have become after inheriting a small fortune, why do you care? At least I know what it takes, and actually take action instead of sitting on my *** all day contributing nothing to society. None of this pertains to the original topic, and you are all making colossal fools of yourselves. |

How about this thread go back to topic instead of some of you coming in here to give your opinion and kick a guy while he is down. That really makes you nothing but a rude person or perhaps "bully" is a better term. That's not what this forum is about. IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY, DONT SAY ANYTHING.

This. It's obvious he didn't earn it himself. |
You all are a bunch of douches, you know that? I am not bragging about anything, and you are insulting me at every opportunity. WTF is wrong with all of you *** hats? Seriously, who brags about inherited wealth? Nobody.
After taxes, warranty, and trade in on a vehicle I did not want, I came in about 6K above MSRP on my vehicle (48K owed after trade-in), which is excessive compared to my past experiences with the dealership. Usually after taxes and warranty you sit at or slightly below MSRP. I did not have to share my experience, and I will make a point not to do so in the future because it's not worth talking to you ********. |

I can help you out, send some money to my paypal, it might get you motivated. As you can see i'm poor, i drive a Camry,:wtf2: and i just got laid off. Seriously i'm not picky, i will settle for a 2009 370z. Your pal, Digital neOn |
Everyone needs to lay off Kaldaien. He's got an amazing car now and who gives a crap what motivates him. I don't care that when I bang your mom, It motivates you to finally move out.
Anyways, I just ordered the '15 Nismo, tech package, illuminated kick plates, and retarded carpets they charge you a few hundred for, for $44410 out the door after all their doc fees, destination blah blah. Looked around on all the sites and that was pretty solid. It was actually $500 more expensive than a black one they had with ALL the exact same options and I couldn't figure out why. Neither could they, as they showed me the side by side invoice on both, But they wouldn't budge on my white one. Can't wait! 3/3/15 baby!! |
Also shopping for a 2015 Nismo. Got two prices from TrueCar. Both include illuminated kicks, floor mats and doc prep.
Nismo MT $39.2K Nismo MT Tech $42.1K Not out the door...taxes, title etc(?) not included. Also considering a used (maybe 2012 up) NISMO but have OK from the wife to buy new! |
