I'm going to get a 2015 nismo that MSRP is 44k I got it to 40200 out of the door . for everybody that got a new nismo what is the best you got of msrp. Just want to check if I should try I even lower.

From what I have heard getting MSRP out the door is pretty good. Is that 40200 including taxes? I am guessing an automatic base nismo?

Its out the door not including tax. Its an manual with different options. First they said they could only do invoice but now Its below invoice

Got a 2015 370z Touring edition with all the frill for 31500. Had a sticker price of 39,600 and was on the internet for 36400 but they had thought it only had 15 miles...it had closer to 500 then 400. So out the door for 31,500 after I made a stink. I think that was a steel since say a Subaru BRZ fully loaded is close to 30k.

I thought the fully loaded tour/sport/Nav/6mt is in the low $40k's MSRP?

First of all, nis350, the sport package is no longer available on Touring models for 2015.

Now, a 2015 Touring 6MT with floor mats, trunk mat, mud guards, illuminated kick plates, and wheel locks has an MSRP of $39,515, which is close to the $39,600 sticker price Powerwiz mentioned.

I'm surprised and frankly a bit skeptical that a dealership was willing to take more than $10,000 off the MSRP of a 2015 370Z because the car had 500 miles instead of the 15 they originally thought it had. I'd love to know which dealership did this. That's many thousands of dollars below invoice (including holdback, etc.), and as far as I know, there are no cash rebates ($5,000+) from Nissan right now that would make this large of a discount feasible. The dealership would lose a lot of money by selling this particular car at this particular price.

Here's the math:

$29,000 selling price ($39,515 MSRP) +
$2,392.50 Ft. Worth, TX, sales tax of 8.25% =

$31,392.50 + documentation, license, title, etc.

I don't know what the ancillary fees are in Texas, but for this example, if they are more than a hundred dollars or so, then the selling price would have to be even less than $29,000 to make the out-the-door price $31,500.

If I made any incorrect assumptions, I would appreciate it if someone would correct me.

This deal sounds too good to be true.

Maybe it was sold as an used 2014 model with some history.

If the dealership sold this 2015 370Z as a used car, it would have to have been previously titled and registered, and I'm sure the salesperson would know that ahead of time because there would be license plates on the car or a registration sticker in the window.

Now, if this car was extensively damaged in transport or at the dealership and was subsequently repaired/rebuilt, then I could see that large of a discount.

However, the OP mentioned that the dealership lowered the price after he vehemently complained about the incorrect information he was given regarding the car's odometer reading (15 miles vs. ~500), which is why I am skeptical, because this would represent a discount of about $20 per mile off MSRP. While a new car with 500 miles should be discounted somewhat, I don't think the excess mileage could affect the price to this magnitude.

I agree with everything you said. It could also be a 'returned' vehicle from a customer for whatever reasons with 500 miles. Why would a 2015 new car with 500 miles that was sold in 2014?

There is no way a dealer would discount $10k off a 2015 new car in 2014 just because the car has 500 'clean' miles. You wouldn't even get that kind of discount during the great recession in 2008 or that dealer would probably be out of business if they did.

I am sure the dealer has to disclose any adverse information relating to the car, but it might not be shared by the current owner here.

You are exactly right. The current owner has most likely omitted some relevant details, assuming everything else is true.
