As for the scrape on carfax, if it is just a small scrape and fixed properly, it should be fine. Hope you took some pics to document the scrape. With the soft paint, I am sure many of us have resprayed the front due to rock chips etc., and that's probably similar to some small scrape which shouldn't devalue the car. Quote:
