Can you get us more info on the manifold?

saber 01-22-2014 03:22 PM

sweet jesus those wheels <3

nice to see all the new options for the Z. i remember back when i owned mine, there was really the amuse kit that stood out, and crazy priced ones like the tamon design one. since fujimura, c20, etc. are here now hopefully we'll see a bit more variety here in the states.

KaienZ34 01-22-2014 05:05 PM

There isn't really much information about that manifold. All we know is that the one shown on their demo car might possibly be the only one in existence. During our meeting with Car Making Revyou, they said they could produce a copy of the manifold on their car, but it would be hand made from scratch out of aluminum, take quite a while to produce, and would be extremely expensive.

Here are some sexy photos courtesy of Car Making Revyou:

Don't be a stranger! We cater to every market. In fact, we have a good amount of Subie clients as well! Interested in a Varis widebody? ;) Let us know if you ever need anything from our friends in Japan! :tiphat:

For those who are following the progress of our Bulletproof Automotive Concept One FR-S, here's a teaser video of it running at Tsukuba Circuit! It will also be on display at HKS Premium Day this weekend!

370Ztune 01-23-2014 04:25 PM

Anyways, it's been a while since we posted up some good Tokyo Auto Salon content, so let's see what the guys at Ings+1 Japan are working on for the Z34 platform!

I don't know about you guys, but I think a white Z is the best color to display a new kit on. It makes it so much easier to see body lines and vents and such. The side skirts are also new. They blend in pretty well with the rest of the kit.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps718c0fec.jpg

I know when we first showed pictures of the kit, many of you guys dubbed it a more aggressive version of the Nismo. What do you guys think about it now? I'm sure with some creative masking and black/grey paint (and red electrical tape :p), it can be painted to look like an aggressive Nismo for sure!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps3d27cbca.jpg

This hood looks like a pretty interesting design. It sure allows a lot of heat trapped in the engine bay to be released.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps0885f9c9.jpg

Thoughts about this fender design? Keep in mind that the top "vent" is only a design cue. It's not actually a vent. The bottom is actually an opening, as displayed in the second picture.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps56e12b46.jpg

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psee629021.jpg

Moving to the rear, we have the Ings+1 Z power wing. This one seems to be sporting the taller wing stands, which we don't see very often.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps3b288836.jpg

Last, but not least, here's a good shot of the rear. ;)

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psa6fe8d9d.jpg

What do you guys think? Hate it or love it?

Eclipz 01-23-2014 04:43 PM

ings rear really nice and unique. White fits this kit perfectly.

KaienZ34 01-23-2014 04:50 PM

Love the INS+1 kit, just don't have the $$$$ for it paint and install but it's super hot all the same.

Wiggins3377 01-23-2014 05:00 PM

I like the kit, not sure on the hood though.

stole the vents from the BR-Z and tacked it onto the Z...er...nah. that hood is crazy aggressive.

Who needs new kicks for the upcoming 2014 show/track season?

TE37 ULTRA

They were featured on this FULL DRY CARBON R35 GT-R by Overtake! Every single body panel you can think of has been replaced with full dry carbon replacements. The car was absolutely STUNNING in real life. You can see our FRS rocking the new ZE40 in the background! :p

Wall of wheels!! It was my dream come true just being in the Rays booth!

Advan RGIII anyone?

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps05b9c5d0.jpg

Original Runduce

Original Runduce isn't a brand known by many. They have teamed up with Varis to make amazing kits for platforms such as Evo X, Subaru GRB/GVB, and FRS/BRZ. They're also known for producing some quick track cars in Japan!

This is why we weren't surprised to see the Varis Z34 rocking a set of Original Runduce brakes.

I'd wait a little bit if I were you. They just might. ;)

For example, the Advan GT was only available in 19 and 20 when it was first released and was marketed as only available in 19" and 20". They just released the 18" version a couple weeks ago.

Right now the Ultras are marketed towards GT-R owners and a select few European cars and the Lexus LS (of all cars right?), but we have a feeling that they'll release a wider variety of sizes eventually.

Amuse370z 01-24-2014 06:19 PM

Are the TE37SLs no longer in production? Its not in their booth any more.

:○ :0 :O You're definitely right that the kit looks amazing in white - especially the rear. The lines are amazingly well executed. When I first saw it, I thought it was just another overly busy kit, but damn, it works so well in white! Too bad my car is black; I'll keep thinking about the Fuji rear, though!

And also, just wanted to say thanks and kudos to you (370ztune/Bulletproof auto) for bringing us these awesome pics. I haven't seen any of these elsewhere.

carlitos_370z 01-27-2014 06:37 AM

Man i love how looks that ings+1 kit... how much or that baby lol!!!

370Ztune 01-27-2014 08:42 PM

Original Runduce brakes! They offer a reasonably priced option for those looking for larger brakes for your Z34. 8 piston 380mm rotors front, 6 piston 356mm rotors rear!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psfcc45950.jpg

These pictures were taken on roll out day after the four long days at Tokyo Auto Salon! Even those random dudes were taking double takes of the new Varis Z34 kit! :rofl2:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps0073b3da.jpg

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps5ab87946.jpg

And we'll leave some random photos of some pretty cool cars (non-Z34) that we happened to see at Tokyo Auto Salon!

HKS TF x Varis = Kamikaze-R. This is one of the fastest, if not THE FASTEST R35 GT-R in Japan! It literally just obliterated Fuji Speedway this past weekend at HKS Premium Day!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psc3e445cb.jpg

Sadly the only RWB we found at Tokyo Auto Salon!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps59f47d81.jpg

Rocket Bunny R35 GT-R!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psafe6a3c4.jpg

Garage G-Force's CZ4A Evo X. This thing is no joke with Varis widebody AND Varis VSDC doors! Not to mention it is TWIN CHARGED pushing out around 750 awhp.

More pictures!

I was walking around the halls of Makahari Messe (Tokyo Auto Salon) and I couldn't help but get a picture of this for my fellow Z34 owners! Yeah. I happen to own a Z34 if you guys didn't know. :p

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps574d5856.jpg

Also, this specific post will be dedicated to wheels because.. we can't help but admire some JDM eye candy no?

18" Advan GT wheels with Project Mu brakes? Don't mind if I do!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psf93d4b76.jpg

BBS LM. Don't know about you guys, but I LOVE the look of BBS on our cars (when done right!).

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps4c9a665b.jpg

Rays' new Velvet Marine finish! It's absolutely amazing in person. We've ordered a couple sets so far and I love "checking" them in. :excited:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps922b1135.jpg

Advan TCIII is a nice remake of an original classic wheel. (I used to own all of the second generation wheels that Advan made: RGII, TCII, etc.)

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps3463c1b8.jpg

Work came out with some new finishes this year (maybe to battle Rays' new velvet finishes)

Let's start off today's coverage with this riDONKulous ride! Hit or miss? Hate it or love it?

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps09f97fec.jpg

Those who watch Top Gear UK should recognize this familiar car! Go watch the episode on the Reliant Robin if you want some good laughs at work!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps8dabe3c9.jpg

Even the Japanese love their Super Bass. :ugh2:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps38af27fb.jpg

Sick Veyron! Wait.. what? :wtf2:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psf59855be.jpg

The best part about Tokyo Auto Salon is the wide variety, makes, and models of cars that are displayed! There is always something for everyone and in this case.. well we'll let the picture speak for itself: dekotora truck!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psf46a6afa.jpg

Check out this crazy 86 from Kuhl Racing!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps6a1cba93.jpg

Another great thing about Tokyo Auto Salon is that there are HUNDREDS of cars at the show, but each and every single car pays so much attention to small details!

At first this looks like a random older generation Lexus..

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...pse91c00bc.jpg

.. but it takes a keen eye to notice small things like this carbon fiber intercooler piping!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps8833f923.jpg

LOL who invited the vdub to Tokyo? Go home vdub, you're drunk!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps04a4889a.jpg

Didn't expect this coming did you? This is actually a drift car haha.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps99902343.jpg

Besides race queens, the halls of Tokyo Auto Salon are filled with interesting characters such as this guy.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps5e166168.jpg

More coverage coming soon! I promise some more normal automotive eye candy! :stirthepot:

The rear tires were 305/25ZR/32!! They shaved off part of the front bumper, front fenders, side skirts, rear quarter panels, and rear bumper to fit the monstrously large wheels!

Wedding eh? Congratulations sir! Let us know when the wifey lets go of the bank account! We'll be sure to mail the front bumper to your friend's house nearby. We'll keep it between you and us. :stirthepot:

More pictures!

Team Orange drift cars! We have some good video of the drifting exhibitions that went on during Tokyo Auto Salon! We'll be sure to upload some later!

This car needs no introduction. Self explanatory haha.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psc785fdaa.jpg

This was a cool display of the new Axela aka Mazda 3 here in the states. Makes me consider buying one. :ugh2:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps49298236.jpg

These type of cars seem to pop up at every event, whether it be SEMA or TAS.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps572c6341.jpg

New Liberty Walk R35 GT-R!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psb2e36a0a.jpg

Zele only brought out their 86 this year. :(

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps399c9e37.jpg

Roberuta had a pretty impressive display this year. Not only was the booth ginormous, but they had this nice Porsche Carrera GT on display among a couple other exotics (which are ridiculously more expensive over in Japan than over here in the states).

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psf5bd972c.jpg

One of my favorite cars at the show was this Aimgain 86. Aimgain's new design philosophies have begun incorporating the Lexus hourglass shaped front grill for an "OEM-plus" type of look. I'm sure if the over fenders were molded into the body, it would look like something Lexus would bring to the market! Another cool feature was that this side of the car had green faced Work Meister S1 wheels and the other side had polished faces.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps09fa123e.jpg

Super clean Rocket Bunny kitted S13!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psd798cc13.jpg

These headlights were definitely an eye catcher, especially considering the "gatling gun" projectors from a Q45 incorporated RBG color changing LEDs.

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps6cb09b1c.jpg

One thing that disappoints me is that the Mercedes Benz A45 AMG hatchback will never make it over to the states. I guess we're stuck with the lame CLA45 AMG sedan counterpart. :wtf2: Nonetheless, here are some super clean examples that will make you join my A45 AMG hatchback bandwagon! :p

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psa7de16b2.jpg

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps80012e48.jpg

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps0418729e.jpg

Varis has an entire kit (front, sides, rear, wing) out for the A45 AMG Hatchback!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...psc3daeecc.jpg

Who wants a Top Secret TITANIUM cup? Shoot us a PM if you're interested and we can get them for you no problem at all!

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps5d6af436.jpg

I'll finish off this post with some ENGINE PORN. NSFW. OS Giken L28 TC24-B1Z. This is a remake of the old L28 TC24-B1. What's different is that the displacement has been brought up to 3208cc (3.2L). It revs up to 10,000rpm and makes a staggering 420PS (about 415hp). :excited:

http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps45b0c7ef.jpg

More coverage coming soon! :yum:
