No mags have re-done 0-60, 1/4, skidpad or anything like that yet?

Curious to see the diffrence the wheel width and better tires can do along with the extra 400 revs and 18 HP.

Here's one: http://blogs.edmunds.com/straightlin...z-touring.html

^^slower b/c maybe not yet properly broken in??

Wow, very disappointing review:shakes head: I was seriously considering trading my touring/sport/nav in for the Nismo, but not now. No oil or diff cooler and the same or worse performance figures. way to go Nissan! The car looks great, but should of focused more on the performance, maybe you should have given it 370hp :-)

Here in Europe we're going to see a special edition called "Nurburgring"; It's probably "our" version of the Nismo 370z, but it's as stupid as yours. I mean, I really like the Nismo, but I agree with all af you about the oil cooler and other things she SHOULD have to be a racing edition of the 370.

Most of all, our Nurburgring will be only available in yellow. No other colors. And the price will be 50.000 euros instead of 45.000. For what? For a body-kit, two seats and Nurburgring stickers all over the car??

Yeah, the Nurburgring mania is a bit over the top right now... and couldn't agree more about nissan... fix what's broken, THEN you can have fun with over the top marketing and special edition Zs

I think a better question someone should ask is, "How can down force NOT increase drag?"

Downforce in essence is creating drag on purpose.

And yet again, Im with RCZ - I missed out on nothing, by not getting the NISMO. I think the styling isn't particularly attractive (Rice-ish comes to mind) and the "mods" are weak, ESPECIALLY without an oil cooler.

I agree, the initial reviews are pretty dissapointing, but I do have a few issues with how they tested it. Testing on different days could have a bit to do with it, but my biggest issue is not tracking both cars and seeing the difference. The marginal Nismo numbers may suggest that it may not be faster, but at least put it out where its suppose to be and let us see the numbers that count. Who cares if it isnt faster 0-60, its heavier than a base, so that extra 18hp is just keeping it in line.

Hopefully when they stack up together the Nismo will shine on the track, otherwise whats the point????

Also, the NISMO isn't really broken in yet. 100 lbs gained should = about .1 sec loss and 20 hp gain should equal about a .2 second gain in this power/weight class, so I assume the bump was " just keeping it in line" as you said. Probably do a bit better after it has some more mileage under it's belt.
