Pro Street was OK but Undercover wasnt good at all. So im most likely not going to get Shift (thats what i say to every game but I still end up getting it )

My PSN is ihc95

LOL It's funny when I saw NFS Shift I just started laughing. EA is the GM of Entertainment gaming, just release the same crap over and over again. I heard a rumor GT5 will be announced sometime between Sept 24-27 during the TGS. I'm on PSN all the time so ima add you =)

EA sucks. They had a stranglehold on the NASCAR license for a long time and churned out nothing but crap. Finally they don't have it anymore and NASCAR isn't doing exclusive licensing so there are a few companies out there that are making NASCAR stuff... GT5 included, which is really cool.

Actually, I think it is sport package, the wheels seem eerily similar, even though they're blurry. Missing a spoiler though. There probably is a 370Z with a sport package available for purchase, lol.

I hope the game feels less sticky grip and gets mechanics like RaceDriver GRID. You could drift through turns and it had a beautiful physics engine. I hope a similar engine makes it to the FM3.

From everything I've researched Forza is a simulation whereas GRID is more arcade-like, though well done. The physics in GRID make it easier for someone to jump in a car and drift it, etc. whereas Forza the car needs to be tuned properly to get it to perform. GRID does give you the feel of speed better but is not realistic whereas Forza the numbers are more accurate meaning 100 mph is 100 mph covering a specified distance of track in specified time. Without peripheral vision due to the TV the real physics don't feel as real because we depend a great deal on our peripheral vision to "feel" speed. GRID compensates by making the experience "feel" more real but the actual physics/speeds are adjusted for feel, not for accuracy. There are tuners in Forza that tune cars according to real world specs, and make fine adjustments from there, that's how close Forza 2 is to reality. It's not perfect, and feels like the physics are more off once the car breaks significant traction, but it's really a good physics engine, best out so far as I understand(pre-GT5). I can't speak for Gran Turismo, I've not researched it as much. And I play Forza 2 a great deal and you can drift.... it's hard, but can be done, there are people who do it flawlessly. I on the other hand drift good for maybe a lap then wreck it or stall the drift. When I started Forza 2 I was super frustrated until I got some help with tuning and learning car physics, in fact, I learned more about suspension setup playing that game and learning from others in it than I had anywhere else. I've never had a tunable suspension on a real car...... that WILL change.

Yep, the car is in the game. I saw a screenshot of it on Joystiq.

Whoa that's crazy that GT5 got a NASCAR license.

EA Sports had a stranglehold on it for years and put out really, really, really crappy NASCAR games. Glad to see NASCAR allowing licenses for multiple companies now to get some competition back going.

Wish the NFL would do the same. Madden 10 is good visually, but man, I'm spending HOURS tweaking the sliders so that blowouts or 60pt games don't happen, but yet, the running and passing games aren't broken with 20 3-n-out's / game.

I agree, the only thing with Forza 2 I didn't like is that cars couldn't go airborne, or, if you did a headon with another car, they didn't get taken out. Granted, it's billed as a racing sim, but at least make it fun for someone who gets totally frustrated to get a little steam out before trying again. ;)

I do have to say looking at the g-force meter on a 180MPH+ head on collision with another car also going around 180MPH+, is pretty funny...

Upscale Style Seekers

*
2010 Nissan 370Z
*
2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe Sport
*
2009 Lexus IS-F

This grouping of Forza 3 car roster combatants have an added degree of class and swagger, featuring some of the most sensuous body lines on the road today. No forced induction, all-wheel drive or feather-light chassis here, these brutes use displacement and rear-wheel drive to get the job done.

The 2010 Nissan 370Z and 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe Sport share the same stout VQ37HR V6 powerplant and running gear. Dropping a turbo kit under the hood is like opening a can of 500-horsepower whoop-***. The Z is an accomplished racer in JGTC/Super GT competition in both GT300 and GT500 classes so expect mods aplenty for aspiring Forza 3 tuners.
So for those wondering about the 2010 Z can just get Forza and have heated mirrors and upgraded Nav and the In-Cabin Microfilter too.
