Love the Stillen front splitter. How is the ground clearance? If it wouldn't be too much of a bother do you think you'd be able to post a picture of it from the ground level? I've seen a lot of members on the forum snapping these off..

Looks great on your car!

Yeah I'll definitely put more pics up soon. At stock ride height I'm not too worried about this splitter, since it basically sits as high as the bottom of the fascia. I cleared a speed bump I am required to get over to enter my air base with no problem. Like many before me have posted, I recommend real hardware for the installation and not the self-tapping screws that come with the lip.

I've been contemplating a drop on swifts, that's my concern for the lip height. As far the hardware goes, being in the insurance industry I have a close relationship with some body shops who I'd probably just have them attach it for me securely.

Yeah I'm thinking about a drop as well. I had my lip installed by a shop too. I would have done it myself but I've never done a lip before and I don't think a 370 is the best car to learn on haha.

Nick911sc 08-24-2011 03:41 PM

haha, agreed!

Looks really good, I want one! Probably after my car hibernates for the winter.

mantella87 08-24-2011 04:07 PM

Thanks man. You've got a solid three months before winter though right? I'd put it on now man. :driving:

I want to but I think the other half might notice another mod

"all $$$ is going to the baby fund" she declared lol.

She probably wouldn't notice though..I once got Leather Recaro seats installed in my Lancer and she didn't notice after sitting in them :rofl2:

So the stillen splitter sits lower than stock? By how much would you say?

karotZ 08-24-2011 06:18 PM

Now you need Evo-R sides and Branew rear diffuser to complete the look. :stirthepot:

Anyone got a pic of this lip with blacked out fangs?

Econ's got a black car with this lip.

Looks good! I like this lip, but I'm just afraid that it might fall off... Let us know how it goes!

PapoZalsa 08-24-2011 07:54 PM

I have the EVO-R lip and it sits higher.

Boost_lee 08-24-2011 08:04 PM

I've had both the evo r and the stillen. Evo r is higher than the stillen. Both fit well, it's really a choice for personal taste.

I say the stillen sits just a small bit higher than the stock sport chin spoiler. I recommend using longer screws, or bolts with washers and nuts for the install.
Op-lip looks good
