Cool vid, gopro camera? Don't feel bad, I drive like this on a daily basis lol.

flashburn 04-10-2011 11:11 AM

Holy sheet. VDC FTW?

We all have our lapses of judgement, and it seems like sometimes a camera only aids that problem. :rofl2:

You were lucky, and hopefully you learned from it. That's how I always look at it when I do something stupid.

murphman 04-10-2011 12:04 PM

haha yeah that can be a little scary specially if you were not intending to do it. Ive actually had vdc on and did that maybe a little worse after leaving the dealership. They put tire shine on my tires and I didnt realize how slick they were but i sure did find out.

RedBullRR 04-10-2011 12:28 PM

Not enough lean angle?! LoL

Footloose301 04-10-2011 01:06 PM

Could have sworn I saw 30mph speed limit signs....

EazyD 04-10-2011 01:26 PM

Haha thanks for the comments. The camera is just a Flipcam with a Delkin Fat Gecko suction camera mount on my license plate holder. $35 mount.

Yes, vdc was on. Yes, heart was pounding afterwards.

370z TT 04-10-2011 01:28 PM

I've done that a million times, just always keep the vdc on unless you want to truly know the limits of the car. Without vdc that would have been very bad....

Waiz 04-10-2011 01:41 PM

You were for sure going to fast though for that narrow of a road.

Thx, another two constructive comments. The sharp corner also got.sharper in the middle and was bumpy as you can see - another loss of traction. I think the camera made me want to push it.

Ughhh. This is just after posting my 141mph GPS max speed picture trophy on another thread. Is this out of my system now?

cfweber 04-10-2011 02:54 PM

:iagree:

Didn't really look like the best road to be doing that on. As long as you learn. :)

Ahhh the shenanegins this car makes you want to do. But after a few scares like that you quickly calm down. At least I did.

I had a similar incident recently, but it didn't turn out so well. Of course it could have been a lot worse, but I'm lucky it didn't. Two of my tires went off the road a bit and I got a scrape on the bottom of my front bumper. Learned my lesson though
