Looking at doing a custom hood vent and the ones on a mustang I think would flow nicely with our hood any way to show me a preview? http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...b35c042cb4.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...73d67df375.jpg

Isn't your car black? Wouldn't you wan to see these on a black hood?

Widdzz 10-18-2016 01:06 PM

Well yeah but I figured it would be harder to see in photoshop, if I like it on the white hood figured I'd like it on the black haha.

Interesting logic.

Which placement do you like?

Those fit the hood pretty well, what's your opinion man, I'm digging towards the middle

Assuming the curvature of the hood and the vents is the same, they look not too bad.

:iagree::iagree: With Cooltoy on this one. I look forward to seeing it once you get them installed.

Widdzz 10-18-2016 05:37 PM

I'm at a Ford dealer now comparing the hoods and where you have it is the perfect location with a flat back and a slight slope forward. I got high hopes for this

Also look under your hood to see if the hood supports are in the way or not.

:iagree:

I know you didnt ask me, but i think it they look good

Widdzz 10-18-2016 10:17 PM

Shoot.. the vents are really long so I don't know what I'll do about that.

cooltoy 10-18-2016 10:20 PM

That's OK. How much longer are they? Twice what I have pictures? And probably wider, right? Did you get measurements? If you did, I could mock it up better.

Widdzz 10-19-2016 09:50 AM

I meant the length might be hard because of the hood supports so it might be hard to find placement that won't mess with that. Would these work better? There the same size but smaller opening http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...c1603a701a.jpg

I see.
I have seen people cut through the ribs, but have no idea how it effects the hood.

I don't like those as much.

Link didn't show up on my phone. I forgot his name but I've seen pictures of a blue z on here with a custom hood where he modified the middle pretty drastic. So maybe it wouldn't be that bad.
I don't like them as much either.

You should create a separate thread asking about cutting through the ribs and it's effect on hood integrity.

I was just using it as an example to show that people do cut through the ribs.

cooltoy 10-19-2016 12:27 PM

Would you be so kind as to do two versions of this front bumper for me? One with the trim done in KAD and one done in matching Mag Black?

BboyZ 11-04-2016 08:32 PM

He still probably 'OUT OF OFFICE"..

Does this work for you, or do you need the same wheels as in 1 and the same wheels and wing as in 2?
