Huh...yeah...sure would look good on an F-150 Ford. Billet grills and mullets go together well.

Agreed. I think OMGWTFBBQ put it best: Looks like a catfish with braces.

Semtex,

If you keep on virtually defacing the 370Z then I'll have to implore AK to reinstate the negative rep points! :icon14: :excited:

semtex 06-02-2009 03:09 PM

Gee, I wonder what would happen if I merged a 370Z with a Pontiac Aztek. ;)

can someone powder coat the touring non sport wheels on a silver z

Dark_Sub_Rosa 06-06-2009 04:54 PM

I photoshopped my old LMs from my old s2k on a black Z. Lip obviously would be bigger but it works good enough.

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...age&img=632779

GreenJalapeno 06-06-2009 08:09 PM

wow thats nice.. how did you match the perspective so well 0.o

Dark_Sub_Rosa 06-06-2009 11:00 PM

Because those LMs were on my old S2k, I have a ton of photos of them so I just found the closest one and then tweaked it enough to match up. It doesn't hurt I'm a graphic designer.

GreenJalapeno 06-07-2009 02:41 AM

^ wow
haha i'm starting to learn ps for industrial design. Im going into art center college of deisng in pasadena for transportation design in fall. A lot of my friends in entertainment are freakking pro with photoshop via wacom =_______=

heres the link to some of their **** if you are interested.
Robert Simons

danny draws

Im in Danny's link under daniel Chae :P Im still fresh out of high school...so long way to go i guess

Dark_Sub_Rosa 06-07-2009 12:05 PM

those guys can draw really well! I'm not really all that great at drawing, I am in advertising and more design oriented for that and not as much in the fine arts/drawing/rendering type of stuff. I haven't had to draw anything in years really.

GreenJalapeno 06-07-2009 05:51 PM

haha its ent design.. they are in universal right now working on movies :P

People that design starwars props, environment, vehicles, clothing, ect go into entertainment. haha Lots of people come down to art center to get education in that. Too bad im going trans 0.o

I'm not sure if anyone wants to take this on, but I'm trying to figure out how the rear Nismo bumper would look on an otherwise standard Sport package car (no wing).

I've attached the best profile shots I could find of both the Nismo and the standard car. My personal car is black, so I'd love to see that, but really I'll take whatever anyone is willing to do.

Hopefully someone else is curious about how this looks too...

Love the gunmetal rims on the Nismo, BTW!

flatrick 06-26-2009 08:59 PM

First off, I want to thank everyone for posting all these great photoshops. What a brilliant idea this topic was. All these pictures have given me a lot of perspective and a number of new ideas for my future car.

Initially, I was thinking of doing something within these lines:
http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/9249/nissan370z04.png

But since I saw this awesome photoshop below, I have had a slight change of heart:
http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/3...n370z15.th.jpg

However, since I am still struggling to decide whether I will buy a Z or an Ariel Atom, I would reeeeeeally reaally want to see what that above style would look like on an Ariel Atom.
I have tried, with my meager skills, to do a look-a-like on an Atom, but have been utterly unsuccessful. So, I would be trully greatful if someone would have the skills and patience to work the art.

Here is the Ariel Atom-picture I have been working on:
http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/7196/arielatom14.jpg

Here is what I am looking for exactly:
- The whole car in yellow, except for the chairs, the wheels, the grill above the chairs and the two red-white-black suspensions beside the hood
- On the picture, the car does not have any plexiglass on the side, but I would have one...so I would like this part also to be in yellow (which would hide almost all the visible belt and chair on the picture)
- A slim yellow circle on the outside of the rims
- Reproducing the graffiti as seen on the picture above or painting something fairly similar or at least funky/aggressive/stylish. In whichever case, I would like the same colours to be used, that is to say black, red, brownish black, brownish red, brownish yellow. The graffiti should cover pretty much the same proportions of the surface as seen on the 370z.
- A final detail, but not absolutely necessary: I would like to have the lights edited into something more aggressive and slim (maybe incorporating even LEDs).

I fully realize this is a lot to ask of anyone, but if someone is talented enough to do this and, in particular, enjoys overcoming this kind of artistic challenges, I would be thrilled to see the end result.

Final note: this photoshop would most likely serve as sketch for a real-life project on an Atom. As I have never tuned any cars before, I have absolutely no idea how much this kind of paint job could cost. So, has anyone got any idea what I should be expecting to pay for this, preferably with european prices in mind?
I reckon it must be quite a big task to take on if you have to unmount all the pieces in order to paint them. Plus, the graffiti certainly takes some skills and time...
