GM color doesn't look as good on picture compared when you see one physically very nice and shiny.

Not really. As the OP stated I was going to replace everything anyways with better performance than the Nismo has to offer which IMO isn't really all that significant more.

yeah, it was a pain to put on. Did it while it was cold outside. I even used a hair dryer.. i got the light smoke. It helps protect.

I was always told that if you put something like PPF on your headlights that eventually it will cause condensation & have your bulbs go out sooner.

exactly. when i picked mine up, (seeing one in GM for the first time in person), it literally took my breath away, as i gasped and smiled, haha!

Removed the smoked film off my head lights and they are painted. Used a heat gun. Came out well! I guess I will not be able to see if the film causes humidity.

They look great, my only fear is the possibility of condensation build up.
