thanks jarblue. uploaded it to flickr and corrected the lighting a little on the original post. any way to force it to a more forum friendly size?

Size seems ok to me (on 4K monitors tho). Your best bet is to resize the photo and then upload it again and link the new resized photo. I generally use the old school MS Paint for basic editing like resizing or rotating.
