Enjoy the weather. I didn't bother taking any picture of the Z today because it's much worse now. The salts have created a thin layer all OVER the car now. If I post picture, some of you guys may get nauseous.

DUDE, no way! Are you serious? They charged you $97 for two 12 mm bolts that takes about 6 seconds to take off? :shakes head:

In my install thread http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...cs-ak370z.html I mention this in one of the very first paragraph:

Spearfish mentions this in his thread as well,

Now, what do you mean they grind down the wheels? did they damage the wheels? I can't believe the service manager allowed his techs to "grind" down a set of rims for no reason or are they totally lying to you and simply removed the bolts?

Sorry man. You're always more than welcome to ask. DO not hesitate to ask. Knowledge is power.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, AK, but I have some good news (for me). lol. Nissan didn't "grind down" the 6th screw. They simply did what you said and unscrewed it. And, yes, I now know that the reason they're there is to keep someone from putting the rear wheels on the front. Unfortunately, due to my lack in forum searching skills, it did end up costing me $97 in labor. Live and learn.

On a lighter note, I did just finish getting my Megan Racing coilovers and Ichiba rear camber kit installed, which makes up for it.

GREAT to hear. I'm looking for a winter lock for winter rims. You should look into it too (if I find it, i'll send you a pm). If I remember correctly, your sport rims were stolen, right? Def make a new thread with the coilover and spacers. They should look sweet.

I just bought a set of standard wheel locks from TireRack when I bought the tire/wheel package. But if you find something that works better, please let me know.

And I will be sure to start a new thread with my new mods after the holidays. Hopefully, I will get a set of 15mm wheel spacers for Christmas to complete the look. :happydance:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and everyone else out there!! :merrychristmas: :happynewyear:

I am thinking that snow tires aren't worth it. The Z is just too low to get everywhere. Some of the roads I travel have ruts where the tire tracks are and a good 4-5" tall ice in the middle... that would just rip lots of stuff off from under the car.

I am sticking to plan B and will be buying a Land Rover Discovery.

World's MOST dirtiest 370Z Award goes to --- :drum roll: ---

My 370Z :( . I can't even tell if it's Monterey blue or something else. Temperature outside if felow freezing so I can't even wash it. In most car wash places, the brushes are filled with dirt and salt from all the cars so I don't feel comfortable taking the Z there. I can ONLY hope for continuous days rain now.

Everytime I see your white Nismo, I fell in love with the car. I think if I were to EVER buy a Nismo 370Z it would HAVE to be Pearl white. Did you get more snow or that's it?
