I donīt like it, too.
But itīs no brakelight but a so-called "tail fog-light" which is prescribed by law in some european states. In Germany for example you may only switch on the tail fog-light if there is fog and the sight distance is less than 50 meters.

Interesting. I think that they should of intergrated it where the plate bulbs are... Red will still allow plate to be seen and cover laws

Is someone able to notice the tyres size on the pics? I known they're 19inches, but what about the width? Pics resolution is too low...

VeeTec 11-05-2008 02:43 PM

Not sure I am feeling the lights, especially the rear lights, but I am sure they will grow on me, as did the 350Z's. It definitely looks more aggressive than the 350Z!

I'll def take some hi quality pictures for you guys that will not be there. I got your back :tiphat:

zed-er 11-05-2008 09:29 PM

I think this car looks fabulous! Nissan is going to sell every one they can build.

The front is a cutting edge contemporary take on a classic sports car. Those headlights look great! The rear looks very Porsche-esque, almost like a mini 928, if you will. In these pictures, lit by direct sunshine rather than artificial light, show a car much more full (not quite fat) than we saw in Nissan's previous pictures of the car.

It looks great and they'll sell a ton of them.

AK370Z-

Not sure what you're saying. Are you poking fun or serious? What do you mean by "sum up my post with this picture?"

370z design is ok, but nothing new, obviously it is mix of 60-70s Z and 2003 Z.
Dont wanna change my 350z for this one. New Z will be more interesting:)

Dav 11-07-2008 07:53 AM

So you're going to wait 2015 for the.. 390Z..?

carsismeZ06 11-07-2008 03:00 PM

I like it way better with the spoiler.

Yes, Nissan took some body line of the 240Z, mixed some 350z stuff here and there and bam you've got the 370Z. You should def give this Z a shot by going to your Nissan dealer and checking it out in person(off course when it shows up at your dealer ;)). I'm pretty sure it'll change your perspective once you see it in person.

Def. looks better with the spoiler. What frustated me the most was that the pictures Nissan USA released on 10.29.08, were NOT the best shot for this car. Bad lighting, background and angle almost ruined those pictures. They didn't even took one with the spoiler on  . These new pictures AREN'T the best but you can atleast see a lot more body lines and features.

I agree with all you're saying, that's what I thought when I saw them. I think Nissan has done a mistake making hype rising so much and then showing those shots..

stim 11-07-2008 07:06 PM

Dav, maybe I gonna wait.

AK370Z, seeing 370z on the street will say much more about it :)

BTW, who knows its Jap or US or EU design team who made 370z?

I would like to know this as well. I'll snoop around for this info.

stim 11-08-2008 08:47 AM

Dav 11-08-2008 09:52 AM

In Italy we say "SANTO SUBITO!", the equal for the english "SAINT NOW!"
