Here's the question. By this point in the process you have already installed the push pin on the bottom (where the rivet was drilled out) and the screw at the top. How in the world can you pull outward on the guard? I would think that everything is pretty tight at that point.

Can you enlighten future DYI's like me?
Ricer333, you don't have to muscle it outward. It's more of a light pull to align it. Once you're actually doing it, you'll see. The splashguards are very easy to mount

Hey guys i need help , so i bought mine own guards and installing myself since i got a ridiculous quote from the dealership ($280) for front and rears like wth. Upon trying to drill out the bottom with 3/16 there is already some type of screw in there, some drill bit type. How did u guys get this out without breaking the plastic ? https://ibb.co/f4qvgk As you can see i already stripped it .That is what is under on the instructions under Fig 1 #7

Old thread but I am waiting on some better weather to install front and rear splash guards.

I am sure nosam1g has figured out by now that it is a rivet he is trying to drill out.

Once you have drilled the rivet out the instructions tell you to enlarge the hole to 8mm for the plastic pushpin which seems a little excessive?

Has anyone who has done this confirm that 8mm is correct?

8mm is correct tried 7.5mm first but pushpin wouldn't go in.

Front and rear splash guards now fitted.
