FWIW, a few days in a rental car is much cheaper than the extra $1000 you are going to pay for labor again when the replacement OEM CSC craps out.

FWIW, a few days in a rental car is much cheaper than the extra $1000 you are going to pay for labor again when the replacement OEM CSC craps out. But I certainly understand when things come up suddenly it can be difficult to come up with the funds on short notice. That was one of the reasons that I replaced my CSC with the Z1 kit before it failed me. The primary reason was I drive out to Middle-of-nowhere, Texas pretty frequently and did not want to get stranded with no cell service and no traffic I could flag down.
