No. No one asked it. I just said. Maybe I misunderstood that GT as of Mustangs.

2013 Nissan 370Z vs 2013 Mustang 5.0: http://youtu.be/0EsqHkNlCgI

GT would clean up our Bases, but not the Sports or Nismos.

Only knee down to Shelby500s.

But also remember that Nissan can provide GT-R. :D

Ford CANNOT beat Nissan.

Sorry dude, I love the 370z like everyone else on this forum but right now the Mustang GT does clean up Sports or Nismos. Not really a huge lap time difference between all the Z variants...

I seem to recall a ford product of the mid-engined variety coming with quite the vengeance. But my fact finding below proves AWD > RWD Mid... in this case :icon17:

Lap time @ Nurburgring
  • Nissan GT-R Nismo (2015) = 7:08.69
  • Ford GT (2004) = 7:48.00
  • 350z = 8:30

Lap time @ Top Gear
  • Nissan GT-R = 1:17.8
  • Ford GT (2004) = 1:21.9
  • 370z = 1:27.5

Really? Any reliability issues? I hear they are pretty much grenades, much like any exotic from that period.

You suxorz! /end jealous outburst :driving:

I had a sales booklet from about 1972 that I would hide in textbooks and read while in detention at HS. Back then, a Pantera was my dream car. (fap, fap)

Looks like one in half decent shape can be had for $30-40K nowadays but a good one is $80K (and up). Still a bit out of my price range. :(

I grew up near the Ford Plant in Milpitas Cali..I bought that 1972 Pantera
from a Ford employee during the gas wars..

best part was the pure rush of the loud exhaust blaring away and the smell
of gasoline fumes filling the interior.........

Now I really miss that darn car.............:iagree:

Speaking of the gas fumes... Do you old farts remember when gasoline use to smell so good? We use to hang our heads out of the cars when dad put the premium gas in his 67 Chevelle SS.
