I picked this up on Amazon.com on clearance (they still have them at this price):
Garmin nüvi 780 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with MSN Direct Service List price is $699.00 but they are on sale for $199. It fits in the dash cubby and I made a small rectangular wedge out of foam covered in black felt to keep it in place. It has bluetooth capability that works great too. I also bought this: Griffin Noise Reducing Audio Cable for iPod, iPhone or MP3 player and ran it into the AUX connection on the stereo. Using an 8 Gb SD Disk I burned about 50 CDs to it and now have a nice size music library stored on my Garmin that plays out of my stereo. Poor man's nav package that didn't cost me $2000 and I have been extremely happy with the setup. |
