Seat Sanity Check
My plan
Purchase and install one reclinable racing seat in red. Leave the passenger seat stock. My question Is it weird to have one red seat and one black? Kinda makes it look like a cockpit me thinks. Options
I've found several vendors for Bride Seats on the forum.
$$ Prices $$ Prices are for 1 seat.

Please save up and buy both seats, or at least do the driver side in black...
Also, is the price for the Stradia with a rail? if so that seems cheap.. |
Dude.....
ugh.... Save and get both seats.... Trust me...

Lmao hells no. Pull out a personal loan! Even at a sandpaper-no-reach-around rate of 50% apr, still worth it. Your Z deserves the love.
All or nuffin!! |
Personally, if getting one seat, I'd go all black

Any hookups on Bride around the forum ????
- Decision has been made... now i just gotta pull the trigger... Bride Stradia II Reims (in red) http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...ADIA-REIMS.jpg |

...anything to back that up? Besides "the internet said so" ? |
You guys think one seat in black would look weird? I was also thinking of getting an aftermarket seat, but just the driver's side and in black.

I see it all the time in track cars, driver wants a more solid seat but not worth the cost to double down, all in your purpose and goals. |
if the car is street driven, ill almost always say get a pair of seats. if its track driven, then screw the passenger, just buy one :)

Note that if you are going to track your car at all you will:
need similar restraint systems for both driver and instructor (IE, belt layouts, not necessarily the exact same seat) need a harness IF you end up using a fixed back seat I vote save up and get two matching seats. Cobra makes good ones too, I wouldn't count them out. |

I have no personal experience with Brides, but go to the track and see what those people use. Cobra, Kirkey, Recaro, Sparco. Not too many Brides. They may be great seats, but I think the JDM FANBOI crowd just jumps on them too much because they come in cool colors or carbon fiber. |

Just wondering why people don't like Cobra seats? They are well made and they are what I use on the track. FIA approved, fit me well, fit in the car fine (Suzuka).

Anyway... HEY VIVID... You can't get custom Status Racing seats now. Although a custom Bride seat would be t*ts. |
Anyone know a place in Socal where I can sit in some seats to see how they feel? I know about Werkz in Burbank, but they only have some Sparcos. A place with Recaros and Brides would be great. It's a big investment without being able to test it out for fit.
