Just to clear up a bit of confusion, the dealer I bought the second fob from is not the same one that's giving me the cold shoulder.....
In the end its not the cash, its the principle of the actions by the people at the dealership. Realistically, it doesn't matter where you buy a car, how they can start to ignore a customer trying to get something like this sorted out is baffling. Nissan Canada is looking into the matter, if nothing else I'll have it put on file against them. |

So after the dealer got the OP's money they didn't follow through on a verbal promise... Wow, I've never heard of that happening... :)
And those of you who are calling Quebeckers "French" are making a huge mistake; they are Canadians who speak French; they are absolutely NOT "French". |
Well, they are Francos, we are Anglos. I have a lot of good friends who are from Quebec. Great, friendly folks who are a lot of fun. I guess everyone's experience travelling in Quebec is different but if you go there and come across as having an attitude, which some in here do in reading their posts, then of course there will be a "failure to communicate".

Alwayz getz Z dealz on paperz before you leavez the dealerzship. That way you won't get zcrewd in azz in the fuzure. Doez everyone underztand my advize? Ezpecially when it comez to buying keyz.

Still no developments on this from Nissan Canada. However..........I had a co-worker who speaks fluent Quebecois french call the dealer today. The receptionist told him that the scumbag salesguy no longer works there. I wonder if he got fired.............

the z you speak of is pronounced zet-toh in japan.

"zet-toh in japan"
That's kinda long for a single letter. :rofl2: |
i got a headache..

OP you will drive yourself to distraction if you think about all this too much. I think you have already chalked this up to experiance and do have a good attitude.
Pursue with Nissan and maybe it will be resolved. Buying a car for $30K is about the same as $30,240. Not even 1%. Perhaps you will be offered a maintenance package as compensation. Good luck. |
