Oh ****... That reminds me!
The other day there was a Hyundia Genesis parked infront of my house!
I don't know how this dude got his hands on one but man it's a nice ride.

The Solstice GXP's 0-60mph time of 5.1 is still very respectable.

LOL! Quality wasn't even a thought when the Solstice was made... GM's thoughts were (listed from highest priority to lowest):

"Make it with cheap parts"
"Make it with cheap parts"
"See if we can make it with CHEAPER parts"
"Make it with cheap parts"
"Throw as little in to the base as possible"
"HYPE the GXP"
"Sell the GXP late so that people that bought the NA would sell their and buy the GXP"
"Make it with cheap parts"
"Sell it for as much as we can get for it"

A lot of people here crap on the genesis for being a Hyundai, and then those same people get pissed off when the bimmer/porche boys do the same thing to them for driving a nissan. That being said, I refuse to knock the genesis for brand; it seems to be a great deal for the money and looks pretty slick.
