I almost cried

I'm really glad you just said two weeks.. I would have likely waited 2 days and then been very pissed when I realized how tacky it still was.

yep, the more layers you put on, the longer you need to wait.

i fixed a dent/chip on my G's hood last year and i waited 3wks before wet sanding. turned out great.
in my case i had to push out the dent using my pdr tools.
