Normally if I make a grocery run in the Z it turns into an hour long drive because I dont want to stop driving! haa

Hey, when I was researching the car..I came across a youtube video where he actually was able to stuff 4-5 huge packs of toilet paper from Costco in the back of the thing....I couldn't make it to a dealer fast enough after that ;)

i like to hear the engine past 4500 rpm every time and sometimes i run it to 7500 but i have never run it hard enough to see my oil temp get to 240

I have stock exhaust so it has to be whined out to make it sound right.

as hard and as often as I can within the limits of the law

I drive it like I stole it.

As my daily driver I love the spirited driving I get to do in it. Although I rarely take it up past about 5k rpm, I will say that when you get to an on ramp it's amazing how fast that car can get up to speed.

You should enjoy your car's treasured performance and handling. Why deprive yourself of the pleasures of driving a satisfyingly quick and responsive vehicle!

That is a fun road. I've only ridden it on the motorocycle. I'll have to try it in the Z sometime.

What a great vid. I bet that Prius driver was not amused :) Makes me want to hop in the Z and go canyon carving right now! I'm lucky to have a great canyon road just a few minutes away.

I don't think I've driven that road but I grew up in SoCal and recognized the landscape immediately. That road looks like crazy fun.

Wow there's alot of law abiding drivers in this forum. From personal experience, about one person in 50 actually drives at the posted speed limits. I suppose it's the proper public stance, but almost everyone in reality is doing at least 10 over the posted limit. Hell, in Florida, they think I95 is the speed limit!!

That said, now that my Z is broken in, whenever I have the chance to jump on the gas pedal, I take it. Unfortunately we don't have alot of roads here, and way too many people for the roads we do have. So even though it's relatively rural, the roads are pretty crowded. The opportunity doesn't come up often enough :shakes head:

Do it, it is way fun in the Z, when I first got my Z me and my buddy in his STI were running that road at least twice a week haha

Still new to Manual, so 1 & 2 gear I drive :driving: like an old woman but 3,4 is an old woman on steroid :) 5 & 6 are for fuel efficency under speed limit. I keep it quiet & slow on residential.

I like your avatar picture 370Z..
