MPG different between Sports and Base?

It could very well be caused by the wider tires on the sport, I know my l/km (sorry I live in Canada) increased a little when I switched to a wider tire on my g37

In Canada we use l/100km , my curreny milage on my Z is around 10.0l/100km, which is about 23.5mpg
