What colour should I paint my calipars?

I have a blue roadster sport package and was thinking of painting my calipars.

Well not me but the autobody shop I took my car too said they can do it - but I need special paint that can stand heat which comes in an aerosol can.

They said 2 cans should do the trick.

Any recommendations on colour?

I was thinking of doing the same as my car paint?

But not sure if blue on blue will look tacky - I tried checking to see what others hav done and yellow or red seems to be common.

Anyways just looking for suggestion - again I'm leaning towards blue .

Also any particular brand of paint or whatever I should buy?

I am from canada so the shop said just go to Canadian tire and you can pick up the cans there ....

Thanks peeps !

Also not sure if I need to tell the autobody shop an special instructions on how to do it properly but if someone knows let me know and I will share it with them

If you chose this route of changing the color of the brake calipers this is
not the work for a body shop. Many of the 370Z forum members here have
had "Mike The Powder Coater" apply his artistry to their brake calipers.
Mike is also a fellow 370Z forum member. I have a Pearl White Nismo and
Mike changed my brake calipers to a Inferno Orange color with Black Akebono lettering.

I'd leave them alone as well.

OP, where are you from asking about colour?

Yellow goes well with blue car. Blue on blue is a bit tacky and doesn't look unique at all. Black caliper wont look bad either. Red on blue is just terrible IMO

I would say the wrx sti gold/blue style would work. Then again.... as others have asked why?

Zteve 08-26-2014 12:40 PM

i usually don't care what a person does to their own car but since you asked, i think you should go hot pink with a little bit of gold metallic flake in it

maybe this guy can inspire you...

Just because they're there doesn't mean that you have to do something to them.

If it were my car I'd just leave them alone and spend the $ on nice brake fluid or pads. If you do want to paint them I'd go with silver or gold. Mike The Powdercoater would be my choice to paint them.
