Lots of hate for painted calipers. I'm thinking gold for mine.

I'd go with Gold.

the brembo orange color is nice, but then again, these aren't brembo's.

there was some goof that painted their akebono's some project mu aqua-green color.
i was like woo~ then took a close look.. boo~ :ugh:

Getting the calipers powdercoated a different colour is on my list of things left to do. The red looks okay with my Mid. Blue on dark bronze wheels, but I think I could pull off a bright green or neon-ish yellow caliper.

Makes it a bit different.

haboob- on your car, the brembo orange color might actually look real nice. stay away from extreme colors. they pop too much on your classy midnight blue imo.

I know. That's kind of what I want, but don't.

I almost went with a bright yellow wheel, but opted for the toned down, classical bronze. :icon17: I guess deep down I didn't quite want all that attention.

I've also considered either a body-coloured caliper or a little bit lighter blue too.

I change my mind so many times or have so many ideas that it never gets done and they'll probably just stay OEM red. :icon17:

I would do this just for you. And I'd make it look good.

Or fabulous, if you wish. ;)

Red. It's still the OEM colour. '13's came with red Akebono's.

Most likely that's what will happen. I just like to entertain the thought of changes to make it a little different here and there, without breaking the bank (again - stupid wheels and tires).

since you say you drive like a grandma, you should get swifts to tighten up
your ride. that alone will definitely make your car pop more. followed by
some sparkly lugs.

Yeah, those both are on the list too.

So many wants, so little $$ at the moment. Paying this year off still. :icon17:

Must. Wait.
