Hellaflush is now... Illegal?!?!

Soooooooo... Bad news for you hellaflush guys, especially if you live in Quebec Canada. Apparently, the Canadian government has made the hellaflush cars banned on roads. So far its just in the Quebec province, but they are saying it might spread.... You know what this means... Its only a matter of time before US gets wind of this and follows suit.

Thoughts??

Here is the article

Hellaflush cars get hella banned in Quebec, rest of Canada to follow?

About time.

FPenvy 08-13-2014 03:03 PM

hahahahahahahahaha YES!

finally someone has read my emails.

Haboob 08-13-2014 03:06 PM

Pretty stupid of them (Quebec), IMO.

Stanced cars aren't really to my liking, and I may poke fun, but banning it altogether? Kind of silly. It's not harming anyone, that I know of.

Well when you've got a tire that's 12" wide, and only 3" of that is making contact with the road, i can see where they're coming from. Doesnt take much for some rain to hit the ground and stability goes right out the window.. On the plus side.. Now would be a good time to hit up the Quebec classifieds for some used 19x12's lol

But to the contrary it is unsafe. They are out of bounds of the vehicles designed purpose. Given you accept the risk everyday to walk out of your house and drive with all the crazy people on the road. If they are being trailored back and forth to a show then by all means. But when you are driving it on the road especially at the most extreme edge it becomes a hazard.

yea yea yea only because you hit on my pet peeve and its this awful style called stance.

and back to your rain comment i have 305 tires in the rear with OEM camber and my butthole puckers a little when it rains with that set-up. i mean RE-11's arent really the top choice for wet traction but still you get my point lol

anything stanced would be like ice skating on the road if it was wet.
