I suppose all you have to worry about is keeping the car in the effective gear throughout the uphill. Can't be too high of a gear to bog it down, nor too low of a gear to be screaming up the hill. Gotta find that median. Otherwise everytime you start up the car and driving, your engine is wearing down slowly. Start ups is what hurts the engine the most especially cold starts
